Therapy is a deeply human experience so much more than just talking or having all the answers.

It’s about showing up as you are, finding safety in silence, and knowing you’ll never be judged for what you bring to the room. Between sessions, I often find myself thinking about you, your story, your journey, and ways I can support you better next time. Ending therapy can feel bittersweet; I’m proud of how far you’ve come, but I also feel a quiet sadness as our time together changes.

If any of this resonates with you or you’re curious about what therapy could be like, please know you’re welcome to reach out for a warm, no-pressure chat anytime. You’re not alone on this journey.

What a lovely morning, contacted me to see if she could try reiki with the horses, and of course I said yes!

They loved it, as did I.

I was cheeky enough to ask Liz if she had time to fit me in too! Safe to say, we are all feeling very relaxed!

I Couldn’t recommend enough, thank you Liz 🧡

This afternoon I attended a CPD webinar by about helping children move on from school trauma.

I see so many children in my practice who struggle with school, for a number of different reasons. So it was so insightful listening to this.

It’s so common to worry that feeling more deeply means you’re ‘failing’ or doing something wrong. But what if it’s actually a sign of real progress?

When you allow yourself to experience sadness, anger, or even joy, instead of pushing it down, you’re building trust with yourself and honouring your journey.

Big feelings can be uncomfortable, but they show you’re healing, not failing.

If you needed this reminder today, you’re not alone. Save this for the tougher days or share with someone who needs reassurance. 💬✨

Taking a moment to reconnect and recharge, sometimes the best way for me to reset is a cold dip in nature’s own therapy pool 🌊❄️

How do you recharge your mind and soul?

We have a picture of this beautiful tree in spring in full bloom but I feel it deserves a place on the grid for the fiery Autumn too. 🧡

What makes you happy? For me, it’s moments like these, watching the sunrise, a beautiful view or seeing Goosey Luce run across the field when I call them for dinner. I feel connected to nature. 🌅🐴

These simple, grounding experiences can do wonders for our mental health and emotional wellbeing. Happiness often comes from being present and nurturing self-care through mindfulness and connection. Therapy supports you in discovering those moments that bring peace and joy.

What little things help you feel calm and happy? Share your thoughts!

Do you often find yourself saying yes when every part of you wants to say no? That’s people pleasing and it’s more common than you might think. It usually comes from wanting to feel safe, accepted, and valued.
But here’s the truth: your needs matter just as much as anyone else’s.

Setting boundaries can feel scary or even guilty at first, but it’s a vital step towards living authentically and feeling peaceful in your own skin.

If you recognise this pattern in yourself, you’re not alone and you don’t have to figure it out by yourself. Sometimes, a little support and curiosity can make all the difference.

Take your time. Start small. Remember, saying no can be a gift to you and those who truly care about you.

What’s one small boundary you could practice today? Drop a comment or DM if you want to talk about it.

So, Donald Trump recently said that autism might be linked to taking Tylenol during pregnancy and that vaccines should be spaced out to prevent it. He also said autism can be “fixed” with treatments.
But here’s the thing, these statements aren’t backed by science and actually cause more harm than good.

Misinformation like this can make life tougher for autistic people and their families, and even scare people from using safe medications.

Autism isn’t something broken that needs fixing. It’s just a natural, lifelong difference. What really helps? Kindness, patience, and listening to autistic voices.
