2's Company consists of two of my major passions: the first being my foreign languages, French, Spanish, Italian & German. I have worked in these languages for the last 40 years, interpreting, translating, teaching, coaching, voice overs etc. My second passion is Bach Flower Therapy - I have been a qualified therapist for more than 5 years and have been a passionate enthusiast of the work and insight of Dr Edward Bach for a great deal longer. His principles of "Treat the cause, not the effect" and "Treat the person , not the illness" have never been more relevant and with every client that I treat, my knowledge and awareness increase. To gain an infinitely greater understanding, please look at my pages on www.thebestof.co.uk/shrewsbury under 2's Company and Suzi Rixon - Bach Flower Therapist and please read my testimonials and blogs. I work gratifyingly successfully with people (and animals!) of all ages ranging from infants to the other end if the scale and I truly love what I do. Come and see me, with no obligation, for more information and thank you so much for reading this.

Hello everyone!
Along with dogs and Christmas, expressions of love are not just reserved for Valentine's day.
It is so important to tell those special people in your life how much they mean to you on a regular basis. To add a little piquancy, I am going to show you how to do this in four different languages.

Let's start with French.....
“Je t'aime aujourd'hui plus qu'hier mais moins que demain”

Now in Italian....
“Ti amo oggi più di ieri ma meno di domani!”

Perhaps Spanish?....
Te amo hoy mas que ayer pero menos que mañana”

And finally in German....
“Ich liebe dich heute mehr als gestern aber weniger als morgen”

Just to play fair, I will give you the English translation:

“I love you today more than yesterday but less than tomorrow”

If you would like more inspiration in any of these languages, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
Meanwhile, I wish you all a very happy and loving St Valentine's Day!

Bach Flower blog – 22.11.20

Now, more than ever, I am struck by the maxim of Dr Edward Bach which triggered his life's work of the Flower Essences: “Treat the person, not the disease – the cause not the effect”.

He was ahead of his time by both understanding and articulating how mental and emotional imbalances would, if left unresolved, lead to physical illnesses.

As a fully qualified therapist and life long passionate enthusiast, I have seen the truth of this in many varying degrees, but never so clearly as I have this year. The anxiety, stress, trauma and uncertainty to name but a few emotions caused by this vicious pandemic have combined with the widely discussed mental health issues which have become increasingly more apparent to produce a perfect storm and I have seen the results in so many ways.

I am not writing this to generate more concern – far from it. I am very confident that using a carefully selected and personally prescribed combination if Bach Flower Essences can powerfully alleviate these chronic imbalances, and I would love to give you a few examples here:

Gentian The remedy for discouragement & despondency.
A wonderfully remedy for discouraged schoolchildren

Hornbeam To give strength to those who feel weary in mind & body

Mimulus Fear of known things but with the capacity to face difficulties
and to regain complete control of emotions

Red Chestnut Anxiety for others – fearful, negative thoughts which may harm us
and those around us, but this essence can enable us to remain calm,
mentally and physically, in any emergency

I do hope that these facts have sparked some interest and please don't hesitate to get in touch for more specific information. Meanwhile, stay safe!

Hello lovely people,

We are living through pretty difficult times just now – you hardly need me to tell you that.

However, something has just occurred to me..... if anyone could understand and react positively to this truly toxic situation, it would have been Dr Edward Bach.

He was actively involved in immunology and bacteriology during the 1918 Spanish Flu epidemic (the closest example to this Corona virus), and his knowledge was truly phenomenal. Combined with that, he gave great credence to the powers of his beloved flower essences, and his original concept of “Treat the person, not the disease”, and “The cause, not the effect”.

His wisdom regarding the huge relevance of healing mental and emotional imbalances in order to prevent physical manifestations has never struck a stronger chord than it does today.

Raising Self Awareness

The following Bach Flower Essences are immensely helpful in developing your self awareness:

Beech engenders tolerance and kindness and helps to let go of the need to project
what others should do!

Centaury For those with a tendency to be led or even dominated. This essence engenders
the knowledge of “what we should be doing” - i.e. self awareness, also strong
individuality

Honeysuckle Engenders wisdom from experience. One's overpowering past is now seen as an
experience of essential value which can be laid to rest, so that one can progress
mentally and spiritually. It takes the “re” out of “react”

Mustard Engenders inner serenity, joy and peace which nothing can shake or destroy

Pine Engenders self value and your own ability, indisputably leading to ever
increasing self awareness

Sweet Chestnut

The most powerful of all grounding essences! Engenders trust in the Universe/
providence. Full control of emotions and strength of character

The Universal Benefits Of Bach Flower Therapy

“Treat the person, not the disease – the cause not the effect”

These were Dr Edward Bach's own words and epitomised his approach to his patients, both as a highly esteemed allopathic, scientifically trained practitioner of modern medicine, as well as the renowned complementary therapist whose life's work became the 38 individual flower remedies which he created in the early 1930s.

Dr Bach was significantly ahead of his time by understanding how emotional and mental imbalances lead to physical illness if left untreated.

Equally, the powerful mental and emotional side effects of physical illness should not be underestimated. Overwhelming fatigue, depression, despondency, frustration, impatience, anxiety are just a few examples.

GENTIAN is a marvellous convalescing tonic when indicated

GORSE encourages positivity and the belief that difficulties may be overcome as opposed to the feelings of hopelessness and despair

IMPATIENS – a relief for mental tension through frustration

OLIVE is another powerful remedy for convalescence. Dr Bach's definition: For those who have suffered long under adverse conditions, whose vitality has been sapped and who are suffering total fatigue of mind and body

STAR OF BETHLEHEM - “The comforter and soother of pains and sorrows”

As I mentioned earlier, there are 38 individual flower essences, each with an individual and immensely powerful benefit to those of all ages, and suffering from a myriad of conditions. I am so fortunate to have witnessed the truly astonishing impact of this unique therapy in my capacity as a highly qualified and experienced practitioner, and I would urge anyone who is suffering, in any way and to any degree, to contact me and to discover for themselves the extraordinary properties of Bach Flower Therapy
