Part of my work in Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation Medicine is the teaching of Anatomy and Physiology to Dance Teachers and Sports Coaches. It it extremely important to know exactly what you are working with at all ages, especially the young developing skeleton.

Wow, yes this looks complicated and makes no sense, but for our Musculoskeletal Dance Teacher Specialists it does. Performance should be about precision, strength and control with loads of passion thrown in. Learning the ability of the body in many safe and "unique" positions is a must. Biomechanical stresses on and within the body needs to be understood.
