It is that time of year when the weather changes dramatically each day and many people choose to have inoculations. Here are a few tips to help keep your skin feeling good ✨

🔸Avoid using your home needling devices and any AHA/BHA products for 5-7 days after an inoculation to avoid skin rashes occurring.

🔸Please reschedule your appointment if you’ve had any viruses or infectious diseases within the past 7 days.

🔸Please reschedule your appointment if you’ve had an inoculation in the past 3 days.

🔸Continue to wear SPF every day on top of antioxidant skincare.

🔸Consider taking a fish oil and ceramide skin supplement such as Skin Moisture IQ 💦from the to keep skin healthy and hydrated from the inside out.

🔸Book a facial to strengthen your skin barrier and lock in hydration 💦 Our Environ Electro-Sonic Facial including the iconic Alginate Masque (as pictured above) is the most meditative and skin strengthening experience, it is quite simply a Facial like no other.

🔸Boost skin hydration levels by adding in a hydrating serum such as Environ Hyaluronic Acid serum or Alumier Ultimate Boost Serum.

🏃‍♀️Every year when I watch the Great North Run it reminds me of the pure awe I have for my best friend who ran the Great North Run (along with me and my Dad) just 14 months after her husband was tragically killed, I still have no idea how she found the energy to train when she was grieving and had two very young children to care for. She absolutely smashed it and raised loads of money for the charity www.ukcops.org who have been an incredible support to my friend and her family.

I’ve listened to clients tell me their stories about the Great North Run over the years and I heard another very sad story this week.

When I ran with my friend I felt her grief but little did I know that my Dad would be diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumour a year later and I never got to run it with him again. I did go on to run it 6 years after he passed away to raise money for Brain Tumour Research.

It’s such an iconic run and has been a huge part of my life watching my Dad run it several times.

If you can sponsor someone you know who is running today for a charity they feel passionate about, please do, give generously if you can.

Huge congratulations to everyone taking part, it’s such an incredible event and a fabulous achievement 🏅

🌱The Lavender, Butterflies and Bees 🐝 have gone and the light is slowly dropping, we are looking forward to the cosy and calm season to come…

Not particularly looking forward to finishing work in the dark and dog walking in the dark, but definitely looking forward to warm clothes and soothing baths 😌 ooh and candles, TV dramas, hot chocolate…

The birdsong outside the Studio becomes quiet, but the heated couch, cosy blankets and being able to park directly outside the Studio make the Studio an enticing autumnal cocooning retreat, the perfect place to relax and recharge - can’t find an emoji that works with cosy, cocoon and calm! ☺️

We can’t wait to welcome you to the Studio soon.
