January dates are here!! That went quick!!

Tuesday 6th, 13th and 20th January 9:30-12pm (see post for venues) - As well as offering advice and support, on all things SEN, and neurodivergence, we are also there just to have a cuppa, a bit of you time and a space to chat. Come and join us for a cuppa and create a gratitude journal or 2026 scrapbook for free!

Children always welcome. Free sensory room and refreshments.

Starting 8th January 5-7pm we have our Riverside family youth sessions. These will now be 7 plus. The teenage area will be in the side room, to give them some independence and the younger children can play in the open space area. Please note we will no longer be at Smithswood primary school.

Also on 6th January 12:30-2pm, we have Super Sensory Seekers, our Stay & Play ran by Keera-Super Sen CIC, with support and advice offered by me. So, if you are pregnant or have a child age 0-5 and are or think you may be neurodivergent, or have a child who has or may have additional needs, then please feel free to come along and meet others on the same journey as you. This month we will be making snowmen and 2026 calendars.

And finally Keera-Super Sen CIC will also be running her monthly Roblox group on Saturday 17th January @ 6-7pm. Please contact Keera-Super Sen CIC for details on how to join.

We are a fully neurodivergent team, with neurodivergent children/adults, so absolutely get it. Please feel free to comment or message if you would like more details.

Our first session of Super SENsory Seekers Stay and play. Look forward to more fun in the new year.

Exciting week ahead. We will be

- making Grinch gonks and offering advice and a cuppa at Riverside Family (Tuesday 2nd, 9:30-11:30am)

- holding our very first Stay and Play “Super SENsory Seekers” at Riverside (Tuesday 2nd 12:30-2pm)

- making rag wreaths and having breakfast (3rd 9:30-12:30) Fully booked

-have our Family Youth Session at Smithswood primary school (Thursday 4th 5:30-7pm)

-holding our Family sensory santa and arts and crafts (6th 11:30-1:30 and 2-4pm) FULLY BOOKED

- Taking a group of families to a pantomine (7th 7:30pm) FULLY BOOKED

This is without:

- networking and raising awareness with midwives on Monday

- Attending the Solihull parent carer voice awards on Tuesday and attending the YO Solihull Christmas celebrations on Friday.

Love the opportunities Super Sen provides to not only create fun memories for families, but also to raise awareness and get neurodivergent voices across 🥰

Don’t forget Riverside family youth session is on tomorrow. Usual time 5-6:30pm. We will have the lovely Aairon from Food for thought CIC with us to chat about 1:1 family sessions that he can offer alongside our Riverside gaming sessions after Christmas. If you might be interested pop along and have a chat with him.

A massive thank you to Evergreen Family hub for letting us trial a session there. Fingers crossed this will be a regular space after Christmas.
We made some fantastic snowmen and met some new faces (as well as seeing some regulars) 🥰 Gonks next month 🫶
