Here’s an extraordinary adventure for those who enjoy exploration without sacrificing comfort.

The Namibia Skeleton Coast 100km Expedition with Tribal Tracks offers a rare opportunity to cross one of the most remote landscapes on Earth. Fewer than 700 people have ever completed this route, and only 160 permits are issued each year. We have secured places for just 16 trekkers for the journey taking place 19–27 February 2027.

Over five days, you will trek between 18–22km a day across towering dunes and along the wild Atlantic shoreline, carrying only a light daypack while your luggage is transported ahead. Expect immense silence, vast horizons and wildlife including jackals, seals, oryx and, if you’re fortunate, the elusive brown hyena.

Each day ends at a beautifully prepared Tribal Tracks camp, complete with hot showers, chemical toilets and exceptional food prepared by camp chefs — think traditional braais beneath enormous desert skies and cool boxes stocked with ice-cold drinks.

This is wilderness without discomfort.
