A reminder that unpaid carers have rights to information, support and recognition.
Whether you're new to caring, or have been caring for someone for a long time, we want to make sure carers know their rights and know how to access help.
Next Thursday Gary from Connected Caring and Emma from Sense Ability Matters will be hosting an information stand at The Glen Medical Group, Hebburn between 10:00 - 13:00. Please feel free to stop by for a chat.

We’re thrilled to see so many parents and carers joining our SEND Surgery Sessions for face-to-face information, advice, and support at South Tyneside Family Hubs.

So far this term, the sessions have provided parents and carers with:
➡️Support in exploring SEND topics such as Reasonable Adjustments, Ordinarily Available provision.
➡️ Improved understanding of the 'local offer' and what families can access in the area, with or without a diagnosis.
➡️ And advice and guidance on many other topics...

These sessions run twice a week during term-time, offering a range of appointment options to suit your needs.
