Thanks to all the lovely staff and children for the warm welcome at East Boldon Infant School - my stint with you is finished for this year, now off to East Boldon Junior School tomorrow 😊🔥
The children were superb with their active listening, keeping safe and supporting their friends 👏 a big well done to you all.

A big thank you also goes to David for all his help with setting up the seating outside 😉👌

These sessions go ahead each year thanks to East Boldon Schools PTA 👏

I've spent the last 2 afternoons delivering Winter Warmer sessions to 3 groups of lovely pupils from Lord Blyton Primary School
Manners and behaviour both outstanding and very sensible around the 🔥 well done to you all 👏
I hope you all had a fab time toasting your marshmallows and making smors 😋

Great to be back today (and tomorrow) at Fellgate Primary School. Lovely to catch up with old friends. We all seemed to have enjoyed toasting our marshmallows and using the flint and steel 👏 lovely manners from all the children from the Base classes 😀

And it made my day to hear the lovely Sheila is still working in school at the ripe old age of 83 👌❤️

🦭 Spot the Seal! 👀

Seals love to haul out (rest) on all sorts of unusual places — from quiet beaches to… rusty old piers like this one!

Hauling out is completely normal behaviour, it’s how seals rest, digest their food, warm up, and take a break from life at sea. Young pups may seek shelter while waiting on their mother, too.

Though in cases like this, the seal may have to wait for the tide to come back! 💙

We couldn’t resist sharing this creative choice of nap spot! Can you spot the seal? 🕵️‍♀️
