✨Meet Jodie ✨

My beautiful cousin, from my real father’s side, and one of the co-hosts of The Wild Rebirth Retreat.

After my real father left, we spent many years of our lives not knowing each other. When our paths aligned again, we realised we had walked very similar paths.

Jodie is a trauma-informed shamanic and rebirthing breathwork practitioner, herbalist, and sacred space holder, bringing deep wisdom, gentle guidance, and a touch of magic into every space she holds.

I feel so honoured to share this journey with her and to have her co-creating The Wild Rebirth Retreat in Portugal with me.

My real father left when I was two years old.

He took everything, forged my mum’s signature, leaving her in a mountain of debt with two children under the age of 4 and moved to the other side of the world.

That absence shaped me from an age where I didn’t even have the words to understand what was happening.

I used to sit on the back of the school bus, headphones on, listening to this song.

I would sit there and cry, carrying a pain that felt far too big for such a small body. Only a deep feeling that something was missing, that there was a hole inside me.

What grew from that experience was a deep need for validation.

The need to belong.
To feel chosen.
To feel wanted.
To feel worthy of love.

For a long time, I viewed that story only through my own lens, through the eyes of the wounded child who felt abandoned, hurt, and deeply affected by what had happened.

But healing has a way of expanding perspective.

Because while this experience shaped me, I don’t know what shaped him.

As I’ve done the work, I’ve started to see life through what I often call different “reality tunnels,” recognising that every single one of us moves through the world carrying conditioning, imprints, and patterns formed long before we ever had conscious choice.

And when I look through that lens, I see something very different.

Not justification.
But understanding.

Not blame.
But awareness.

Because these stories so often run deeper than we realise, woven through generations, experiences, wounds, and unconscious patterns.

This is something I’ve also had to face in later relationships in my life, chapters I’ll speak about more in time.

But this was the beginning of the story.

And awareness is where real healing begins.

This wasn’t just a rebrand.

It was a threshold.
A shedding.
A rebirth of my own.

For years, my work has lived under Breathe into Bohemia
a name that held a beautiful chapter.

But growth changes everything.

As the work deepened,
as I deepened…

I could feel I had outgrown the container.

The Wild Rebirth was not created.
It was recognised.

A reflection of what this space truly is:

Initiatory.
Embodied.
Grounded.
Alive.

This soul activation symbol was received through sacred ceremony - not designed, but channelled as frequency.

More than a logo.
More than a name.

A new era.
