Back on the smoothie bowls.👌 I thought I couldn't tolerate smoothie bowls but right now it doesn't matter whether I eat a spinach leaf 🌱 or 100000 donuts 🍩 my will cause me to blow up like Aunt Marge in Harry Potter.🎈 So I might as well eat the things I LOVE i.e smoothie bowls, fruit & allll the raw choclate 😏.

Bonus, the weather has been pretty good (for England) the past few days a.k.a perfect for SMOOTHIES 🙌

TROPICAL FIRE 🌴🔥
🍌frozen banana
🍍frozen pineapple
💚frozen cougette
💪 vegan protein powder
Plus my fav anti-inflammatory spice mix:
🔥fresh ginger
🔥turmeric
🔥cinnamon
& black pepper to aid absortion of all the goodness!

Me downing my THIRD green juice of the day. I am eating SO MANY GREENS I wouldn't be surprised if I turned green. Seriously, I may just transend into a spinach leaf or a piece of algae. 🌱 My nutritionist has advised me to drink an algae mix ×2 a day + a green vegetable juice so that's exactly what I'm doing. Expect to see a whole lot of greenery.🌿🌱🍀🌳👀

The best way to stick to healthy eating is to ALWAYS have healthy snacks & healthy alternatives to your favourites in your cupboard. That way, when you feel peckish, have sugar cravings or are in a rush you can just grab something; something that will not only taste great, but make you feel great too. 🙌
My MUST haves:
👉bliss balls (these ones are peanut butter, cacao, honey, coconut flour &
protein powder)
👉raw chocolate (my favourites are 100% cacao or coconut mylk)
👉fruit (especially strawberries, kiwis, pineapples & satsumas)
I also love superfood mixes like that I can add to a quick smoothie for a nutritional boost 👌

It is almost impossible to watch a sunset and not dream 🌆✨........but truth be told I was actually dreaming about food & was wondering what to make for dinner. Honestly if I'm not eating food, I'm thinking about food 😏🍌🍝🍪
FYI I've decied on COURGETTE PIZZA BOATS🍕🍕🍕
BASE👉cut a courgette in half & roast until soft
SAUCE👉simmer tomatoes, red pepper & carrot in water with basil, mixed herbs, Himalayan salt & black pepper until soft. Blend.
TOPPINGS👉pan fry chicken & mushrooms
CHEESE👉blend soaked walnuts/cashews with nutritional yeast, squeeze lemon juice, 1 tbsp potato starch, pinch salt & pepper & nut milk. Add to a pan on a low heat, cook & stir until thickened.
👉Layer tomato sauce, chicken & 'cheese' onto courgette boats
👉Bake for 10 mins & serve

I'm super into gut health; it affects EVERYTHING from energy to mood. Keeping your gut happy is the key to good health. You could be eating the world's healthiest foods but if your gut health is poor, you won't be properly digesting it & benefiting from it.

IN MY BOWL:

Kale & mushroons sauteed in homemade GUT BROTH👉 collagen in gut broth helps heal the gut lining

SWEET POTATO👉 a prebiotic to feed good gut bacteria

Basil & oregano TURKEY meat balls👉 poultry is easier to digest than beans & red meats

Homemade BASIL CASHEW CHEESE👉 it's delicious, plus herbs are anti-inflammatory & nuts are high in fibre for healthy bowels

I am a summer person through & through🌞🌊👙. It's crazy how much SUNSHINE effects me; I go from being a sad, unproductive husk of a person in the winter months, to a happy little coconut in the summer 😁.
I can't wait for the flowers & bare trees to bloom 🌻 to wear t-shirts & flounce about in little dresses 💃 to have that rare British bbq🍢 & dive in the ocean 🌊 (although maybe not in the UK cus I don't want to catch hypothermia & die).

WHAT MY CURRENT DIET LOOKS LIKE🍲
At the moment my focus is on HEALING MY GUT so I am eating more paleo based & focusing on lean protein, healthy fats, fresh fruit & veggies, pre & probiotics. But in general I eat intuitively; if I'm really hungry I'll eat more, if I'm craving dark choclate I'll have it. 💁🍫
BREAKFAST🍍 usually vegan because all I really want in the morning is fruit

LUNCH🍳 typically eggs because they're easy on my digestion (even when I boil them for 20 minutes cus I like my eggs yellow & solid aka murdered), with veggies & then I switch up the flavour (herbs, spices, nutritional yeast, miso, tamari)

DINNER🍣 fish, turkey, chicken or vegan options like tofu or chickpeas with veggies & avocado/hummus/vegan pesto/vegan cheese

EXTRAS🌟 you can bet your bottom dollar I'll have chocolate in some form: raw vegan chocolate, a bliss ball or a hot choclate are my go tos

Since the age of 12 I have suffered with acne. In my late teens, it got so bad & painful that I was put on Roaccutane. Even now, in my 20's, I still suffer with hormonal acne & painful cysts. But my approach to healing my acne is VERY different. Rather than pills & harsh scrubs, I focus on NUTRITION, LIFESTYLE & natural SKINCARE 🍲🏃💆. Detoxing & hydrating my skin
✨coconut oil - antibacteria & hydrating
✨chorella - calms redness & inflammation
✨charcoal - draws out impurities

Let's get ready to...sticky toffee crumble 💃
I was trying to make some vegan choc chip cookies, cus 3pm sweet tooth, but whilst in the oven the 'cookies' spread and took on a whole new persona. At first I was like 😕🤦😔 but then I tasted them and oh man they were DAMN GOOD. I cut them into bars, let them cool, ate a few 🙄 (you know how it goes; 1 for me, 1 for later, 2 for me...) then froze them which took them from chewy sticky toffee to toffee crunch with chunks of chocolate. 💥🍫👌
Just goes to show, some of our greatest achievements come from our biggest mistakes. 😘

Movement is my meditation 🙏. Anytime I feel stressed, sad or overwhelmed, moving my body, whether that's HIIT, yoga, a stretch session or going for a walk, completely changes my mood & outlook for the day. That & bad ass playlist.
Next time you feel a bit frazzled, play your favourite music, roll out your yoga mat or put on your trainers & move your body. 🎶🙏🏃

I spent so long denying myself sweet treats & feeling guilty if I slipped up & ate something 'bad'. This kind of mentality lead to an unhealthy relationship with food; starving myself then bingeing on chocolate cake in the bathroom 🍫🚽🙈. Healthy eating isn't about denying yourself anything. It's about being aware of what you are putting in your body, balance, nutrional AND emotional value. Whilst eating wholefoods, fresh fruit & veg is always a good idea, sometimes it's just as important to enjoy a bit of chocolate, wine or pizza.🍫🍷🍕
