Some things I’ve been doing after work lately that are helping me unwind and give back to myself…

Getting outside for a little walk 🚶🏼‍♀️🌤️ even if it’s just 10 minutes. I try to catch whatever sunlight is left because it genuinely resets my whole mood. Fresh air & steps = instant shift!

Cooking a hot meal 🍲 feels so grounding after staring at screens all day. Nothing fancy, just warm and soothing.

I’ve also been trying to do things that aren’t overstimulating… so less phone, less editing, and more calm little hobbies. I made those cute little Santas 🎅🏼💛 the other night as tiny gifts and it was honestly so relaxing. Anything creative or hands-on really quiets my brain.

Some evenings I bake something quick and wholesome 🍌🍞 the other night it was banana bread with Greek yoghurt + honey and it was so comforting but still felt like proper nourishment.

And then we usually put on something relaxing… we love Hidden Spring Farm and Luke from Outdoor Boys 😭👋🏼🌲 If you know, you know. Anything nature or outdoorsy helps me switch off completely and I always sleep better after.

Then bed by 9 🛏️ because I love waking up early enough to do something nice for myself in the morning a slow start, a walk, making something, gym, whatever feels good 🤍

If you’re feeling a bit frazzled after work lately, try just one of these: a 10-minute walk, a warm meal, a simple hobby, or a cosy nature video. Tiny things, but they make such a difference ✨🌿💫

You know those limits you feel? Most aren’t really real, they are just old stories your brain tells to keep you safe.
But think about it, you’ve already been through stuff you never thought you could handle.
You’ve actually grown way more than you give yourself credit for.

So today, remind yourself:
You’re capable.
You’re adaptable.
And even on the days that feel slow or tough, you’re still getting stronger.

Keep going, you’re proving it to yourself every day. 🌿💛

Coaching doesn’t have to feel scary. It can look just like this, two humans talking, exploring, and finding what works for you. And it doesn’t have to be in a room, we can move, walk, or work outdoors if that feels better for you.

Featuring my lovely client 🥰 thank you- ‘G’ 👏🏼

Bolognese night got a little… weird 🍝😂
Yes, he threw pasta at the wall. Yes, it stuck. And yes, this bolognese was 😍🍝👌🏼
I was cooking it while Harry was getting the tree decs from the loft 🎄
Made enough for a few nights too because future me cba to cook every night in the week and deserves nice things 😌
Sharing the recipe I used last night because it’s so good👇🏼✨

Bolognese Recipe:

Ingredients:
• 1 tbsp olive oil
• 1 onion, finely chopped
• 2 garlic cloves, crushed
• 1 carrot, finely diced
• 1 celery stick, finely diced
• 500g beef mince
• 2 tbsp tomato purée
• 1 tin chopped tomatoes
• 200ml beef stock (I added chicken broth too)
• 1 tsp dried oregano
• 1 tsp dried basil
• Splash of Worcestershire sauce
• Salt & pepper & honey to taste
• Optional: a splash of red wine (I used balsamic vinegar lol)
• Optional: parmesan to serve

Method:
1. Heat the olive oil in a pan and soften the onion, garlic, carrot + celery for 5–7 minutes.
2. Add the mince and cook until browned.
3. Stir in the tomato purée, chopped tomatoes, beef stock, herbs, Worcestershire sauce, and wine if using.
4. Season and let it simmer gently for 25–40 minutes until rich and thick.
5. Serve with pasta (preferably thrown at a wall to check doneness) and top with parmesan.

Too early? 👀😂🎄

We ended up putting the tree & decs up this afternoon because the rest of our weekends are a busy 🤥👀😅

Dani came in for her first strength session wanting to feel stronger, build muscle, get into a routine and make small changes that actually stick. Nothing extreme, just wanting to feel healthier!😈💪🏼

She showed up on a cold evening… 🥶 and left feeling goooood😉

It’s wild what can happen when you finally take a bit of time back for yourself.

One small step, and you feel the shift straight away.

Me and Harry finally put a blackout curtain in the garage to separate the chaos from the gym area.

Bought this one from Amazon and honestly, the quality is so good! We also bought some for the living room 👌🏼Highly recommend if you want to hide the mess and keep the light out! 🖤✨

Rare selfie because I never look put together or curl my hair anymore… but I definitely should 😅

It’s sweater season 🧣 Does anyone else hate things around their neck? 😂🙃 Like please… get away from my neck, too close, too claustrophobic! But admittedly, looks so good layered under a coat 👌

Me and Harry spent the day walking in the Lincolnshire Wolds, one of my favourite places. It always makes me feel so at home 🤍 After a few mentally busy weekends filled with plans (and not much time outside purely for joy), this was needed and appreciated.

It’s so easy to fall into the cycle of feeling rubbish, staying indoors, and having no energy… but the truth is, doing more (not less) is usually what shifts it.

Even a short walk and some natural light can make a difference. You still get vitamin D on cloudy days, and that bit of movement clears your head and lifts your mood.

Every time I push myself to get out, I come back feeling better, calmer, lighter, more me🌿
