Amongst the chaos and to-dos, I try to make time to pause… (and gather some sanity) which usually looks like being outside🌿✨

The past few weeks we:
-walked with Olive (our cat, whilst also doing her best roof-hopping adventures 🐱)
-smashed up old slabs
-prepped the foundations for our new patio ready for the pros (family) to come lay it

It was hard graft, but so nice being outside…
arguing over what way to do things lol, the neighbours popping their head over to chat, Olive escaping every 20 mins, doing cat things 🐾

The joys of life right now 🥰💛

I’ve really noticed darker months this year, and from talking to some of you, we’re all feeling quite similar 🫶🏼

I feel like all I want to do is the bare minimum, skip plans (or not make any 😂) and keep life simple 🍃.

I don’t really want to go out or be “on”
I just want to be outside, walking, breathing, and mostly quiet.
Keeping company small.
Sticking with my safest people.

If you’re feeling this too… it’s not lazy, being broken, or antisocial.

It’s a season.

Travelling on Christmas Day turned out to be 10/10 😍🥰
Quiet airport, slightly cheaper flights, and we gained Christmas Day back thanks to the time difference (24hours awake😳😅)😏

Got chatting to the cabin crew, a couple of drinks, and then a complete surprise upgrade to first class… just us!

Calmest, smoothest journey we’ve had.

Landed feeling rested and made it in time for Christmas dinner with Harry’s family.
Sometimes doing things a bit differently pays off.

Lately I’ve been really leaning into the little things that actually help my mood 🤍 capturing moments with people I love on camera because my brain forgets everything 😅 , hosting local meet ups because bringing people together genuinely makes me happy (and this one was so lovely), eating colourful food because it just makes me feel good, choosing new places and experiences over buying things, and of course getting outside for a walk and soaking up beautiful light as the sun sets or rises ✨

Nothing dramatic, just small things that add up.
