W/C 16.2.26 - this is February half term. I am having the week of to spend family time with the girls. We have lots of fun things planned to do together. I will have my phone and diary with me to take and book in your appointments.

Why is Diabetic foot health care appointments are important?

Moisturize: Apply lotion to dry skin on the feet, but never between the toes to avoid encouraging fungal infections.

Protect Feet: Never walk barefoot, even at home. Wear shoes, socks, or slippers to prevent injury.

Safety and Hygiene standards.

To ensure that safety and hygiene standards are meet I autonomic clean instruments and autoclave them in sterile pouches before each use.

Full PPE is worn and hand hygiene is maintained for each patient.

Effigerm spray is applied to the skin before treatment is carried out as it cleans and prevents infection.

Sharps are fidposed of in sharps bins for saftey.

This is just a small.part of the safety and hygiene standards that are meet to ensure a safe delivery of care.

The above patient entrusted me with their foot health needs, within 3 visits, I reduced the thickened toenails, removed the fungal infected areas.

Their toenails are now more comfortable and healthier. With continued regular visits I will continue to assess the progress to achieve their optimum foot health.

Regular visits prevents problems long term.

Thickened Toenails transformed in 3 x 6 weekly visits.

I soften and burred down the great toenails to reduce the thickness and promote comfort to the patient. Reduction of built up dead skin from around the toenails.

There is healthy nail appearing now. I will continue to visit and support the new toenail growth shaping as required.

The patient is very happy with the new look toenails and stated that their toenails feel comfortable.

I am really pleased that I am able to help and make a difference to patients.
