Chakras and Yoga 🌈

Enhanced Energy Flow: When the chakras are aligned, the energy flow within our body is optimised. This increased flow of vital energy revitalises the entire system, boosting vitality, stamina, and overall energy levels.

It can also enhance creativity, productivity, and motivation.

Mountain pose supports the root chakra (Muladhara), while the camel pose opens the throat chakra (Vishuddha).

Incorporate these poses into your regular yoga practice to clear energy pathways and create harmony among the chakras

Balancing the chakras, particularly the heart chakra, can improve the ability to give and receive love, fostering healthier and more fulfilling relationships.

Yoga practices, including those focused on chakra balancing, can help reduce stress and anxiety by promoting relaxation, mindfulness, and emotional regulation.

Next week is the start of my seven week chakra yoga and meditation block.

Each week we focus on the chant, manta and asanas that help to balance each chakra. Helping with anxiety, digestion, and struggling to tap into your parasympathetic nervous system (rest and digest).

On the final week you will each receive a token gift as my way of thanking you for joining me, some herbal teas, mulled cider (non alcoholic) and grounding homemade food.

Monday and Tuesday evenings, plus a Tuesday morning class.

Chakra yoga block 🌈

3rd November to the 15th December

Includes meditation, breathing techniques, working through each energy channel with the body.

There will be grounding food, a gift, mulled cider, and herbal teas on the final session as we close for the year.

£90 for the entire block.

This can be paid in full or over two months, with the promise of full commitment to this block.

This is a seven week block.

9:45am - arrival

10:00am - Cacao ceremony with Nikki

10:15am - 11:45am - a gentle 90 min yoga flow with Anouska

11:45am - 1pm - a three course winter warming lunch by the fire in the lodge

1:15pm - 2pm - a wintery walk in the countryside, then setting positive intentions, letting go of what no longer serves us by the fire pit

2pm - 4pm - two hours in the outdoor spa consisting of wood burning jacuzzis, cold plunges and saunas, surrounded by fairy lights and the wintery county side. Each guest will receive a complimentary drink

4:30pm - 6pm - Restorative yoga in a heated cosy room with blankets and pillows.

Every guest will receive a gift bag as we gently close the day.

Stay Fabulous Yoga Announcement:

As from the 9th of October yoga will be returning to the jubilee hall on a Thursday morning, I will be offering Chair Yoga 🪑 🧘🏻‍♀️

10am - 11:30am

The first ten minutes will be a chat with a fruit tea, gentle breathwork, meditation, then gentle moves and stretches on the chair, before ending with meditation.

A typical routine involves deep breathing, seated spinal movementslike cat-cow, stretches for the arms, legs, and back, and can be done with or without an armless chair.

Benefits of chair yoga

* Physical: Builds strength, improves flexibility, boosts balance, and reduces muscle pain and stiffness from sitting.
* Mental: Increases awareness of the breath, which promotes a sense of calm and helps manage stress.
* Improved posture: Helps you align your spine and maintain good posture.
