✨ A little reintroduction… because I have lots of lovely new faces here! ✨

Hi! I’m 36, living in Hertfordshire with my husband, our 3-year-old daughter, and our two cats 🐾

By background, I’m a Registered Nurse, and better outcomes for patients has been at the heart of my career for many years.

I’m currently part of the Clinical Lead Team for the NHS East and North Hertfordshire Lymphoedema Service, where I see patients in clinic on a daily basis supporting them with specialist lymphoedema care.

I’m also the proud owner of Lympheaseandsculpt, where I combine my clinical expertise with hands-on therapy to provide evidence-based, compassionate treatment.

My previous roles include:
• Lead Nurse at a Harley Street cosmetic surgery clinic (specialising in pre & post-operative care and wound care)
• NHS Ward Sister
• NHS clinical trials Research Nurse

So grateful to be given the opportunity to study with the incredible team to become certified as a Lipoedema specialist nurse and therapist.

I am so passionate about bringing better, evidence based and personalised care to ladies with this disease in my NHS and private work and this course is the jumping off point!
I'm so lucky that my job enables me to make positive changes to NHS services that will change lives and shape the way that women who have been left behind and forgotten for so long are treated going forward, i'm so excited for this next chapter.

✨It's not just about a flat stomach, but it's pretty satisfying!

Post op or not the bloat for a lot of ladies is so real, regardless of what's causing it, a good flush of your lymphatic system to get rid of excess water retention and stagnant fluids all over your body and face that is full of toxins is going to make you look and feel amazing inside and out 🥰.

This girlie is 6 months post op and still feeling a huge benefit from her monthly lymphatic drainage, we time it for when she has events or going on holiday to feel her absolute best! ✨

Now to be transparent you won't always get an instant visable result the first time! This girly has been having regular massages since the beginning of the year and the difference in her legs, arms and abdomen after stepping off my table even surprises me!

Post op Lymphatic massage is important for all surgical interventions not just cosmetic surgery!!! ✨

As current clinical lead lymphoedema nurse specialist, past surgical nurse and past cosmetic surgery nurse I've seen it all!

Recovery Without MLD:
healing may be slower, and patients may experience lingering discomfort, bruising, or tenderness in the treated.
inflammation can progress to fibrosis (permanent tissue hardening) or seroma (swelling) (pocket of serum).

Recovery With MLD:
Softening and Minimizing:
Lymphatic massage can help soften and minimize scar tissue formation, leading to better long-term cosmetic results.
Improved Recovery:
By boosting lymphatic drainage, the body's natural cleansing process is enhanced, leading to faster recovery and improved tissue repair.
Reducing Swelling:
Lymphatic massage helps drain excess fluid, reducing swelling (edema) and discomfort in the surgical area.

Surgery SZN going strong over here ✨

A review from my lovely client who underwent a mummy makeover and so far has had some amazing results!
She did:
2 full body massages pre op to prepare
4 massages per week for the first two weeks which we slowly reduced down to now once per week at 7 weeks!
It is SO important to factor in the cost of post op care for any cosmetic surgery to get the best result possible 💕💕

Post abdominoplasty manual lymphatic drainage massage ✨

Having worked in cosmetic, emergency surgery and now lymphoedema I've seen every aspect of recovery from surgery.
It's so important to choose an MLD therapist who can not just make things look less puffy but understand the anatomy and physiology of what your body is going through! ✨

I can walk you through your pre and post op care, monitor your wounds, advise on the best compression garments to wear, best skin care, best movement and exercise, scar care and scar massage ✨
