Good evening…Had a really productive surgery this morning at Staines Library – it was a pleasure to meet so many residents and hear directly about the issues that matter most to you.

We covered a wide range of topics, including Surrey Highways and accessibility, the long-standing yellow box at the junction with London Road/Kingston Road, parking concerns and the lack of enforcement on Fairfield Road. We also discussed A2Dominion and service charges, safer school streets, and a vehicle crossover issue.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to come along and share your views – it really does make a difference.

A great way to round off the session was meeting representatives from the IAMFlow CIC!! They have a very exciting event taking place in Staines in the summer.

Team IAMFlow delivered three intensive days of circus skills activities culminating in a performance by the children for their friends and families. This project was part of Escalate Arts Community Commission in partnership with Dynamo Ukraine and the Eclipse Leisure Centre in Staines.

IAMFlow CIC, a Staines-based arts collective, is bringing exciting performing arts and circus skills workshops to Stanwell Moor, funded by Community Foundation for Surrey. These workshops aim to boost confidence and life skills in young people, particularly those aged 11 and up. Participants will explore circus arts, dance, and storytelling, fostering teamwork, creativity, and self-belief. The programme culminates in a performance where young people can showcase their new talents to friends and family. It's all about building skills, having fun, and creating a sense of community for everyone involved.

We had an incredible time performing at the 25th Anniversary of the Sunbury Embroidery Gallery! This memorable event truly embodied the essence of collaboration, well-being, dance, and storytelling.
