October has been a fun filled month for residents here @ Seacroft Grange. Residents and visitors enjoyed being met in our reception by our witches cackling away. We displayed our pumkins and our conkers that were kindly collected by Delilah and Everly Ramsden. We had lots of reminiscing about Conker picking and putting your conker on a piece of string and trying to smash the other persons to see who had the best one.

Intergenerational activities are a fantastic way to make social connections between generations, Students from year 3 ‘Beechwood primary School came to spend time with us. We had a fantastic afternoon decorating pumpkins, drinking Hot Chocolate, enjoying Halloween treats. The students really enjoyed showing our residents their finished pumpkins. Residents chatted away and said how wonderful they all were. The students got to take their decorated pumpkins home with them along with a treat goody bag and a little gift to thank them for visiting. We are looking forward to their next visit.

Residents on all our communities enjoyed an autumn flower arranging session. We had lots of different flowers all in beautiful autumnal colours. This is a fantastic way to bring the outside in and for our residents to show their creative side. The arrangements where all beautiful and residents took them to their rooms and on to communities

Residents here @ Seacroft Grange recently enjoyed being entertained by Marc & Alison. We had a fantastic afternoon with great music, singing dancing and a music quiz. Everyone said what a fantastic afternoon they had and can’t wait for their next visit to us.
