I do apologise for cancelling my appointments this weekend, I have not been feeling very well and would only ever want to give you my best 🩵

I hope you are all well, I know this time of year is not always easy for people but just know I am here should you need me. Thought I would take the opportunity to share one of the last pictures I took of my boy before his passing now we are heading into December.

He is the reason I do what I do 🐾

🏠 Rehoming a pet brings a kind of grief people don’t talk about enough. It’s a quiet, complicated sadness; missing their presence, their routines, their little quirks, paired with the guilt of wondering if you did the right thing.

But choosing to rehome a pet isn’t a failure. It’s an act of love when you know they need something you can’t give right now. The grief you feel only proves how deeply you cared.

It’s okay to mourn. It’s okay to cry. It’s okay to miss them.

With time, the heaviness softens, and the love you gave - and the love they’ll continue to receive, remains. Be gentle with yourself. 🩵

🐾 I have had some very difficult conversations regarding ‘Anticipatory Grief’, this is where we struggle with bereavement before we have lost. It is natural to worry about whether you’re doing the right thing, or to worry about the process on the day and what to do afterwards.

We can discuss all of that in a confidential safe space and aim to make you feel more prepared.

Please never feel like euthanasia is “giving up”, it’s giving love one last time. You eased their pain when they needed you most. That’s not guilt-worthy. That’s grace and takes an immense amount of strength from you. 🩵

🐾 Losing a pet is heartbreaking for any family — but for children, it can be especially hard to understand. For many kids, it’s their first real experience with death. Pets aren’t just animals to them — they’re best friends, snuggle buddies, and part of the family. 🩵

If your child is grieving a pet, here are a few gentle ways to help:

I want to take a moment to share something from the heart.

I never started this with the intention of making money — my goal has always been to offer comfort, and a safe space to discuss your beloved pets. Sadly, even kindness comes with its practical realities — time, resources, and the ability to keep offering this support sustainably.

That’s why I’ve introduced small session fees, simply to help me cover the time it takes to continue doing this important work. I truly understand how expensive pet care can be, especially towards the end of a pet’s journey, and the last thing I want is for cost to stop anyone from reaching out.

💙 Please, if you’re struggling financially, don’t hesitate to message me. We can always work something out — compassion will always come first.

🩵 For now, all sessions are available over the phone or via Zoom/Teams, so you can find support from the comfort of your own home.

Thank you for your understanding, your trust, and for allowing me to walk alongside you as you honour your fur-ever cherished companions.

🩵 A warm welcome to each and every one of my new followers. The overwhelming response to this has really caught me off guard and I am incredibly grateful for your belief in me.

I aim to provide a safe, understanding space where we can honor the deep love between you and your pet— and with that, the grief that comes when we lose them.

A reminder you’re not alone here. We will walk this path together. 🐾

🐾 Nothing in the world can fully prepare you for the loss of your pet. I myself was aware it was coming, I lived in denial for a long time until my boy made the decision for me.

When the time came I was lost and inconsolable; struggled existing in a world that wasn’t the same. I didn’t know who I was without him, but I was lucky and I had 18 wonderful years with my best friend. Now I was lonely and I felt like nobody could possibly have ever felt how I did.

Working in the veterinary field I know all too well circumstances change in the blink of an eye. I have vast experience working with people from the beginning of their pet owning journey all the way through to the very end when they say farewell and look through burial or cremation options.

I decided to start a support system for those going through one of the hardest parts of their lives. We can have a coffee and remember your beloved pet the way you want to. We will get through it together 💕
