This Remembrance Day, we pause to honour and remember all those who have served and sacrificed in times of conflict. At Heaton Norris, we acknowledge the courage of veterans, service members, and their families.

Stay Well This Winter ❄️

As the colder months arrive, it’s important to look after your health and wellbeing. Here are some simple ways to stay well this winter:

💉 Get your flu and COVID-19 vaccinations – They’re the best protection against serious illness. If you’re eligible, book yours today.

🏠 Keep warm – Heat your home to at least 18°C, especially if you have a health condition, are over 65, or have young children.

🧼 Stop the spread – Wash your hands regularly and catch coughs and sneezes in a tissue to help prevent the spread of germs.

🍎 Eat well and stay active – A balanced diet and gentle exercise can boost your immune system and mood.

💊 Be prepared – Keep a well-stocked medicine cabinet and order repeat prescriptions in plenty of time.

🤒 Know where to get help –

-Visit your local pharmacy for advice on minor illnesses.
-Use NHS 111 online or call 111 for urgent health concerns.
-Only use A&E or 999 for life-threatening emergencies.

Dr Gupta’s practice is based in a purpose built medical centre in South Reddish. We are easily accessible being on a major bus route and have patient parking, including disabled parking facilities to the rear of the building. Our reception and consulting rooms are all on one level, which makes the facilities accessible for patients with mobility difficulties, wheelchairs, pushchairs and prams.
