First Aid Industry Body The professional body that is run by the first aid industry

The First Aid Industry Body was created by Ian Kershaw MBE (ex-Head of First Aid for the Health & Safety Executive from 1995-2007) at the request of Health & Safety Executive Approved Training Providers. It is run under an Advisory Panel of Experts within the First Aid Industry and is run for the First Aid Industry by the First Aid Industry. We provide a 5 Year Approval for our Registered Training Providers who will be monitored by qualified Inspectors. We approve First Aid at Work, Emergency First Aid at Work, Paediatric First Aid and also Mental Health Training and every Training Provider issues an unlimited number of their own certificates at no extra cost. We are the efficient, cost effective alternative to Ofqual/SQA for accreditation and encourage Training Providers to provide heavily practical First Aid training.
