A week full of community, celebration, and shared moments at Rose Tree Care Home 💛
We were delighted to welcome visitors from St. George’s Church, where residents took part in a meaningful Holy Communion service, followed by lovely conversations about Easter traditions and memories. ✝️🌷
The week continued with a fun-filled football day as we geared up for the much-anticipated derby between Newcastle and Sunderland. Staff proudly wore their team shirts, while residents joined in with chants, laughter, and reminiscing during our weekly coffee morning. ⚽☕
To top it all off, both staff and residents donned football-themed red noses in support of Comic Relief—bringing smiles, laughter, and a wonderful sense of togetherness to the home. ❤️

We recently marked the occasion with a wonderful Chinese-themed lunch, lovingly prepared by our talented chef, Liam. From delicious flavours to beautifully presented dishes, the meal was enjoyed by everyone around the table. 🥢
Beyond the food, the celebration sparked meaningful conversations as residents and team members shared traditions from different cultures, explored fun facts about China, and reflected on how celebrations bring people together across the world. 🌏
