Willow View Care Home Willow View is a 77 bed Residential Home offering exceptional facilities to the public. We offer Residential and Dementia Care within our setting.

Our home was established in 2014 and has built great relationships with the local community.

Today we made banana bread. It was a one to one with a resident who prefers these activities.
We made 2, one normal and then one with no added sugar hoping the natural sugars from the bananas will sweeten the bread.
This was used for afternoon tea trolley.

Morning!!!

A round up of our valentine's week, with a bit of bird nesting boxes thrown in!!
We spent a couple of days doing valentines crafts to display on our doors.
I then spent some time getting dating advice from our residents for those who may need it!!!
We then decorated cakes and had these at our Valentine's theme afternoon tea!!!

Later today we welcome back Steve from KO entertainment who will sing for us in Gardens lounge!!

Just a gentle reminder that visitors are more than welcome to come and join in activities when visiting x

A busy day today!!
Baking this morning, then after lunch it was our resident led Gent's club.
We also had our monthly church service from our friends at Hebron.

Tomorrow we are having a coffee morning and then karaoke in the afternoon to try out our new machine!!!

Cheers to Rabbie Burns!!!

As part of Burns night we had a food tasting afternoon, whisky, Irn-bru, haggis, shortbread and oatcakes were all on offer. Surprisingly not many took me up in the offer of haggis!!!

This morning we played balloon tennis, then this afternoon the Gent's enjoyed playing dominoes as part of their resident led Gent's club which meant it was only the ladies who enjoyed a singalong with Beth!!
