Our residents have been creating so many beautiful decorations and ornaments this week - Gingerbread Men, Stockings, Stars, and even Cork Angels! 👼🏻✨

All of their handmade goods will be available to purchase from their Resident’s Craft Stall THIS Saturday, 6th of December! ☃️❄️

Our Feedback Notice Board and our Activity and Wellbeing Post-box are both located just opposite our Reception Desk! 📮📌

We welcome staff, residents, relatives, and visiting professionals to submit suggestions, ideas, compliments, and general feedback for our team to review each week - and possibly be displayed on our board! Simply take a blue slip and drop it in our post-box! 📩🤩

Only 4 Days to go until our Christmas Fair! 🎄🌟

Our residents have been hard at work over the last week making some of the most beautiful, creative and magical Christmas cards we’ve ever seen! 💌🎅🏻💫

Glitter has been sprinkled, stickers have been stuck and festive cartoons have been drawn to craft festive holiday greetings for you all! 📮

All of our residents handmade cards will be available to purchase from their Resident’s Craft Stall at our Christmas Fair THIS Saturday, 6th of December! ☃️❄️

We took a visit to Better Together - Community Support Group for Stoke on Trent and NuL this morning to see how our Food Collection will help our Community during this festive season! 🫱🏻‍🫲🏾

The team is not just providing food, but also hope, comfort, and strength. Their holistic work and dedication are nothing short of amazing, and we feel so honoured to have had the opportunity to tour their beautiful hub and to be making donations to their Community Fridge! ✨

🌭 If you can donate to our Food Collection, some of the items on their Community Shopping list are as follows:

- Curry and Pasta Sauces
- Hotdogs and Hotdog Rolls
- Tinned Meatballs
- Food Kits, such as Fajitas or Tacos
- Tinned Meals, Meat, Veg and Fruit
- Pasta and Rice
- Sweet Treats for Christmas, such as Selection Boxes, Biscuits, Chocolate Reindeer or Coins!
- Any festive extras that would make someone smile this Christmas!

Thank you to everyone who has already begun to drop off items at our Reception! We are so grateful for your kindness and commitment to help us share the spirit of giving - let's make this Christmas a special one for those in our wider community! 🎁

🍪🎄Christmas Food Bank Collection🎄🍪

This December, Springfield Manor Care Home is embracing the spirit of giving by hosting a Festive Food Bank Collection in support of local families who may be experiencing difficult times!

We warmly invite our residents, relatives, team members, and community friends to join us in spreading kindness and goodwill this Christmas!

⭐️ How you can take part:

Donations of non-perishable food items can be dropped off at Reception by Tuesday, 16th December!

On that date, all contributions will be carefully gathered and delivered to our local food bank, helping to bring comfort and support to families in need during the festive season! ✨

Every item donated—no matter how small—will help make a meaningful difference. Together, we can share the true spirit of Christmas by supporting our community and showing that caring for others is at the heart of all we do! 🎁
