And that’s a wrap on all of our festive fun for 2025! 🎄🥹

Our residents spent Christmas Day and Boxing Day enjoying Prawn Cocktails, Soup, and Turkey Roast Dinners! 🍤🥫

Everyone got dressed up in jumpers and party hats! 🎄🥳

We watched Christmas Tv and some of our favourite films, including Grease! 📺🎬

We opened gifts, shared hobbies and enjoyed the company of family and friends! 🎁🧶

How did you spend the festive season this year? ✨

We’ve had an action packed December full of festive activities and magical moments! Thank you to all of our wonderful team who have worked hard over this Christmas Period to make the season so special for our residents! You’re all stars! 🌟

Our final festive film screenings in our 12 days of Springfield Manor Christmas were ‘The Nightmare Before Christmas’ and, of course, ‘It’s a Wonderful Life!’ 🎃🎅🏻🪽✨

2 very different genres, but each classics in their own right! We’ve loved watching so many of our favourite Christmas movies over the last 4 weeks - we’re sad to say goodbye to all the festive fun!

We have plenty of great film screenings lined up for Film Club in the month of January - where our movie theme is ‘The 80s!’ Any guesses of some of the classics we’ll be watching? 🦾💥🗺️🍫🦶🏻🎶

We’re pleased to share that Mr and Mrs Clause have been to visit all of our residents! They collected letters, dropped off presents, snapped plenty of pictures and spread so much Christmas cheer! ♥️

Happy Christmas Eve from our resident naughty Elf, Elfo!🎄✨

Elfo has been all around our home this festive season - hanging around, helping out, and causing mischief! 🤭

Elfo has hung new door signs, stolen chocolates, browsed our library, made lots of fluffy friends, played darts, and even gone for a spin on the kitchen whisk! 🍫🧸🎯

Our 8th festive event in our Springfield Manor 12 Days of Christmas was our much anticipated Christmas Karaoke! 🎤🎅🏻✨

Drinks, mince pies, endless amounts of chocolates and good christmas cheer filled our cafe as everyone got ready to sing their hearts out! ♥️

With song sheets in hand, staff and residents worked their way through a festive tracklist - sprinkled with a few fan favourites and 60s sing-along anthems - and finished the afternoon with an Open Mic! 🎶🎄

We want to say a massive thank you to Megan and Nicky for organising such a fantastic and inclusive afternoon filled with so much laughter and love - and to our amazing staff who took to the mic to bring smiles to our residents - you’re all stars! ⭐️

For our 7th festive event of the season, we hosted a special screening of one of our favourite Christmas Classics in our Cafe: The Muppets Christmas Carol! 🎬🐽🌟🐸

The morning began with Knit and Natter Club, where we made Felt Stars, continued our Knitted Square project and Megan was taught how to Knit! 🧶⭐️

The knitting continued into the afternoon, and our residents gathered for their festive film - complete with caramel hot chocolates, biscuits and Quality Streets! 🍬

Any guesses on what our last 2 festive screenings will be this week? 🤔🍿

Congratulations to our lovely Foxfield Resident, Jean, who won our name this bear draw this morning, and is now the proud owner of the fluffy duo: Pudsey and Blush! 🧸♥️

Our Raffle has also been drawn this morning! Congratulations to Trish, the owner of ticket number 70, on winning our festive hamper! 🎟️✨

Thank you for all your support and donations this Christmas Period to help us raise money for our activity fund! Our Raffle and Name the Bear Fundraisers have raised a combined £116 - which is simply amazing! 🤩

Our 6th festive event in our 12 Days of Christmas was a Cheese and Wine tasting afternoon in our Cafe! Relaxed, cozy and, as Joan might say, “Oh-So Sophisticated!” 🧀🍷✨

Our residents and staff tried a selection of different cheeses, crackers and fruits - some of their favourites being a Mango Chutney Red Leicester, and a Maple Syrup Coastal Cheddar! 🥭🍁🍇

To wash down their festive nibbles, our residents sipped on warm Orange Mulled Wine, Buck’s Fizz, and enjoyed listening to Christmas Classics by Bublé! 🥂🎵

What a lovely festive treat, and so lovely to see everyone mingling in front of the roaring ‘fire!’ 🤭
