This is a reminder that Minor Injuries in adults and children are seen at Haywood Hospital rather than the A&E at Royal Stoke University Hospital.
Haywood Hospital’s Walk-in Centre will be able to provide these essential services to the local community between 7am-9.30pm every day.
A wide range of conditions can be treated at Haywood Hospital for example:
✅ wounds needing stitches
✅rashes
✅ear infections
✅sprains and strains
✅suspected broken bones
✅bites and stings
✅minor head injuries
✅minor burns
✅severe sore throats
✅foreign bodies in the eye
🚨You should attend A&E or call 999 for serious and life-threatening conditions such as severe bleeding, loss of consciousness, suspected strokes, chest pains or breathing difficulties.
