Today we honour Denise, an incredible nurse who has dedicated 47 years to the NHS!

Starting her journey in 1978 as a Cadet Nurse in her hometown of Durham, Denise went on to complete full nurse training in Teesside before moving to London. After marriage, she relocated to Bristol in 1985, and finally settled in Stoke-on-Trent in 1989.

In 1999, Denise stepped into General Practice and never looked back. She joined Dunrobin Street Medical Centre in 2000, where she has been a much-loved and vital member of our team ever since. Her dedication to patients and colleagues is truly exceptional – always going above and beyond expectations.

Outside of work, Denise is part of a motorbike racing team, using the platform to raise funds for Cancer Research UK. She’s also famous for bringing the most delicious cakes to the practice and is the proud owner of an adorable dog named Peggy.

Denise, thank you for your unwavering commitment, compassion, and hard work. You are an inspiration to us all! 💙
