This is not just ‘scented water’ this is specifically formulated to clean the coat and to help us horse owners with those last minute tasks. Containing Lavender, TeaTree, Grapefruit and Oat Kernal extracts.
Great for quick baths or hot clothing, creating a cleaner, softer coat and can soothe the skin and coat to stop itching that can occur during the shedding process of the horses coat.

Conditions and protects the skin and fur, reducing problems caused by the mud and rain.This product stands out from the rest through easy application and not being a heavy oil based product. This means that it still allows the skin to breathe and won’t clog hair follicles. You don’t need to wash the product off after use and when bath time does come around, it’s not filled with endless scrubbing and still feeling like the oil is clinging to the coat. Prevents bog burn by protecting the feathers from becoming brittle, and protects against skin conditions such as rain-scald or mud fever.

AlvaBarrier is a spray or sponge on product, conditioning and protecting the skin and fur, reducing the problems caused by the mud and rain. AlvaBarrier is suitable for all breeds, colours and types of horses.

𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘥𝘶𝘤𝘵 𝘥𝘪𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘵?

Upon application to the hair and skin, AlvaBarrier forms a protective film on the surface while still allowing the skin to “breathe”. Oxygen, nitrogen, and other nutrients can still pass through the film. However, AlvaBarrier does not allow water to pass through, which is an ideal quality for preventing dry, dehydrated skin. Containing essential oils, such as tea tree oil to help ensure the skin does not become irritated. This product is a winter must have, especially to protect against skin conditions such as rain-scald or mud fever. In addition it helps prevent bog burn by protecting the feathered legs from becoming brittle.

☔️ For best results, we recommend the first application to be applied on a clean coat. Apply regularly for the first week and then as often as required depending on the weather and ground conditions. ☔️

‘Alva’ ... here is the story behind the brand ...

AlvaHorse was established in 1995. By a Welshman called Phil Bowmen.

In 1992 Phil purchased a Welsh cob c**t called Rhystyd Dazzler. Rusty as he called him, grew into a fine horse and Phil was keen to show him off!
