You know, there are topics that evoke a deep sense of pain in me, and I feel the need to share these thoughts with you.
I often find myself observing events, opinions, and the lives of different people. This means I see many shades, and some of them can be difficult to accept - even for me.
It hurts to live in a world where people are divided into categories and judged for their "worthiness" based on language, culture, skin colour, nationality, place of residence, and so on.
And when I say "it hurts," I am not exaggerating. At times, I cry and feel as though this issue remains an endless black hole in our society, with no end in sight.
A person - any person - has the right to life, and that right is given at birth. When a person is born, they do not choose their country, place, language, or skin colour (let’s leave spiritual aspects aside for now). A baby does not choose, and that is an undeniable fact.
A person does not represent the political system of the country where they happen to live.
A person is an individual, a story, an experience, and a set of values. Only by considering these aspects can we even begin to understand what a specific individual truly represents.
Speak with people. Ask them questions.
Protect yourself from stereotypical thinking.
Protect yourself from judging others, because to judge and condemn is a heavy burden.
