Exciting times ahead.
It was a tough year with the loss of four of our herd but the herd is a constant it changes and survives outlasting the individuals and leaving their legacy in the behaviour and learning of those that remain.
We have new rescued horses which feels like the start of new journeys with them (some of the horses are very challenging). We have interesting adventures.and plans for this new year. We will be doing more, reaching more people and bringing the horses wisdom in a variety of ways.

This book was one of the most influential books in my life and therapeutic work. The concept that your mind was not often working to your benefit and it wasn't you was profound, liberating and made sense to gaining control of irrational thinking. Seen by some as Buddhism for the masses but it made these concepts more accessible to many people.

Horses have taught me that trust is earned in the quiet moments of waiting. It’s in the stillness, when there’s no rush, that we build the foundation of true connection. Whether it’s waiting for the right moment to ride or simply standing together, those moments of patience are where trust begins to grow.

They show me that trust isn’t built through force or speed, but through presence and understanding, through showing up, and being steady and reliable.

Because of the horse, I’ve learned that trust is nurtured in the quiet, when we take the time to listen and be there, without expectations.
