Did you know wearing black to funerals dates back to Roman times.

Unless requested to wear a specific colour, it is usually respectful to wear black or dark shades to funeral services. It is believed that this tradition dates back to the Roman period, where individuals would wear a dark toga (known as a toga pulla) after the passing of a loved one or family member. This tradition persisted throughout British history, with the Victorians in particular favouring black as the colour of mourning.

Wow... what a legacy this man left. To find out that ultimately, a man of so much humour did not kill himself but was killed by a disease he or his loved ones knew nothing about.

A loving husband to Pam who sadly passed away in Ipswich Hospital.

Speaking to those who knew Richard, he was a devoted husband and friend to all, Richard's cremation will be taking place privately on Wednesday 5th July 2023 at around 9 am. Please hold Richard, Pam and their close friends and neighbours in your thoughts at this time.
