Did you know wearing black to funerals dates back to Roman times.

Unless requested to wear a specific colour, it is usually respectful to wear black or dark shades to funeral services. It is believed that this tradition dates back to the Roman period, where individuals would wear a dark toga (known as a toga pulla) after the passing of a loved one or family member. This tradition persisted throughout British history, with the Victorians in particular favouring black as the colour of mourning.

Today we hold a thought for all those who celebrate this mother's day without their mothers. As well as those mothers who won't get a mother's day card, message or visit. We remember them all both in life and those who have passed over. God Bless.

Wow... what a legacy this man left. To find out that ultimately, a man of so much humour did not kill himself but was killed by a disease he or his loved ones knew nothing about.
