I made this post up a while back but just thought I’d repost to provide some nutrition tips ahead of tomorrows half marathon 🙌🏼

With warm weather forecasted for tomorrow’s half marathon, it’s essential to prioritise hydration ☀️🧊
Higher temperatures increase fluid loss through sweat, which can lead to dehydration and impact your performance 🪫

Start hydrating well today, drink water consistently throughout the race, and consider electrolyte drinks to maintain your balance 🙌🏼

I put together this post for anyone who may feel stressed when it comes to grocery shopping 🛒

I’ve broken it down into simple macronutrient categories (carbs, proteins and fats) and included some go to items to make your shopping trip easier and more organised 🥸

Your shopping list should cover most of these items to ensure you have balanced meals throughout the week, helping you stay nourished, energised, and meet your nutritional needs 🍏🍓🍌🍉

Just a reminder - each meal you consume should include a source of protein, carbohydrates, healthy fats, and side of fruit/vegetables to ensure you’re getting the right nutrients for energy, muscle support, and overall health 💪🏽

Probably the most rushed and least aesthetic cooking video you’ll ever see 😌😌😌 (It’s a working progress)

But I made these chicken burgers for dinner this evening and oh my god - they were 🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼 chefs kiss

So simple and required very minimal cooking!!

Ingredients:

1 x chicken breast fillet 🐓
1 x egg 🍳
1/2 cup cornflakes 🥣
1 x light cheese slice 🧀
1 x burger bap (toasted 😉)
All purpose seasoning 🤌🏼
Some salad and chips to serve with 🙌🏼

This whole meal was just under 630 kcal with 60g of protein 🤩
