https://www.nationalcounsellingsociety.org/counsellors/ncs23-04696 I am a person-centred counsellor with a background as colourful as the Canadian landscapes I grew up in. I come from a place where compassion and empathy were cultivated from a young age. I grew up in a multicultural family where I had not one, but two severely disabled sisters. This experience was a profound part of my life and shaped my understanding of the unique challenges individuals and families face. It instilled in me a deep sense of empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to support others on their path to healing and personal growth. I have made it a priority to be trauma-informed in my approach to counselling. My belief is that understanding the impact of past experiences is crucial for creating a safe and healing space for you. I've had the privilege of working with clients who have experienced various forms of trauma, addictions, eating disorders, and much more. I am here to provide you with a compassionate, non-judgmental, and understanding environment to help you navigate your own journey towards healing. My approach is rooted in the belief that you are the expert of your own life, and I am here to support and guide you as you discover your own path to healing and personal transformation.
