Throughout the week we have been very busy doing many different activities!

Residents lead the activities! We did walks to the water meadows, we did some arts and crafts, we had cuddles with noodles, we all said and made our long time favourite and made sandwiches! 😍💜

Pat went in the garden to fill the bird feeder and then we had a walk around the garden and found these lovely little daffodils!

The small of the fresh air was lovely.

We picked a couple of the daffodils to bring indoors to show others that really is around the corner! 🙌🌻

A double celebration at Catchpole Court 🎉🥞

The morning began with a nod to the Year of the Horse, with Chinese snacks and colourful decorations to mark the occasion.

In the afternoon, we had a flipping good time making pancakes, with residents choosing their favourite toppings and enjoying plenty of laughter and great company 💜

After a relaxing morning yoga session, we marked National Nest Box Day by hanging nest boxes in the garden to provide a safe space for birds to settle and nest.

In the afternoon, we enjoyed getting creative in the kitchen, making chocolate nests topped with mini eggs, with plenty of chocolate spreading and laughter along the way! 🍫🥚

The afternoon was filled with sweet treats, warm drinks and even warmer company, as everyone shared stories, laughter and plenty of smiles.

We had our mini bus trip and Hadleigh Nursing Home invited us for the day to celebrate !

Dennis, Josephine and Pat all arrived to be greeted with some lovely tables and homemade crackers, we had heart shaped shortbread to decorate with icing and then enjoyed some savoury and sweet scones 😍🌹

We had tea and coffee and had a session of love song singalong, we had lunch with our friends and then we gave some treat bags out which our residents had put together.

In the afternoon we listened to a singing - great day had by all thank you to Hadleigh for your hospitality! 🙌💜

Josephine went for new clothes, whilst Dennis went for the sweets.

Pat was looking at all the easter bits ready for some easter crafting. A shopping trip brought back so many memories, a wish granted! 🛍️😍

We thought we would try something different and we tried making clay coasters with dry flowers!

We had good fun designing the coasters, and the end result was very good - following the coaster making we did some mindful colouring and had a good sing along 🎶💜
