🎨 We all came together to paint masks, with everyone fully focused on their designs, the room was calm, quiet, and full of concentration 😊

Wow, what a lovely afternoon we had with Frederick Douglas Care Home Entertainment 🎶

Mark Andrews treated us to a fantastic Good Old Days show, complete with fun hats for everyone 🎩 and plenty of laughter along the way 😊

Our two shining stars of the show were Mike and Vincent ⭐ who truly stole the spotlight!

Mark kept everyone engaged throughout, even changing jackets during the performance 👏 The room was full of singing, smiles, and even a bit of dancing 💃🕺

An amazing show that brought so much joy to us all 💜✨

Joan and Pat enjoyed a lovely visit to St Peter’s Church, taking in all the beautiful artwork on display 🎨

Of course, no outing is complete without a stop for cake and a cuppa ☕🍰, and with the sunshine on our faces, it made it even more special ☀️

Meanwhile, Nina, Vincent and Josephine made the most of the fresh air with a walk down to the duck pond, where they spotted a swan nesting outside the mill 🦢

What a perfect way to kick off our Nutrition & Hydration Week! ☀️🍓

We were so lucky to have the sunshine with us as we put together a delicious snack board and headed outside to enjoy it. Alongside some tasty treats, we mixed up some refreshing mocktails and soaked up the warm weather 🍹

To make the afternoon even more special, our little friend Noddles was running around bringing smiles and laughter to everyone 🐾

We celebrated a 90th birthday, St Patrick’s Day, and a wedding anniversary all in one and what a party it turned out to be! ☘️🎂

The Christopher Singers joined us for a fantastic hour of music, helping us celebrate Patrick’s 90th birthday, as well as a very special wedding anniversary for Patrick and his wife 💚

There was singing, laughter, and so many smiles.

Vincent, Lyn, Pat, Vera and Doreen hopped on the Kingsley bus and headed to Fillpots Nursery, starting the morning the best way, with tea, coffee, and delicious toasted tea cakes. After a good catch-up, we explored the shop, admiring the beautiful flowers and picking out our favourites for the garden 🌷

Of course, no trip is complete without a few treats, so we grabbed some goodies before sitting down for a tasty lunch. The clear winner? Omelette and jacket potatoes! 😋 With some fizzy pop to top it off, spirits were high all round.

To finish off a perfect day, we sang all the way home on the bus.💜

To celebrate plant a plant day we came together and we used cups and saucers and planted pansies in them! 🌷

This brought back so many memories, not only because we played with mud and got dirty, but meant so much to those who have been keen gardeners.

A lovely afternoon of family, flowers and cream tea at Catchpole Court 🌸☕

Residents were joined by their daughters and grandchildren for a special flower arranging session. Tables were beautifully set as everyone created their own arrangements to take home, along with little table gifts.

The afternoon was filled with tea, cake, laughter and plenty of reminiscing — a wonderful time shared by all 💜

We celebrated - Residents talked about different types and subjects of books 📚

We discussed whether there was a preference between paperback or hardback books, and if electronic books were popular - they were not.

Residents like to be able to choose a book, read the cover and look at the bright coloured book covers, the type and style of the print and the quality - some books are so good to read you can't put them down.

We had an interesting afternoon together 😍💜
