Adventure is really important to me. And dragging people along on adventures is my most favourite thing. Not that they usually require much dragging!

Currently preparing for the next adventure, hiking the Laugavegur trail in Iceland in July.

I had some lovely beta reader feedback yesterday about my fantasy adventure novel, and it made me remember why I wanted to write that book. Sometimes my solo adventures scare the s**t out of me. But…“The odd thing about bravery is that if you’re doing it right, it feels a lot like fear”.

I’ve had my backpack for twelve years now, and it still comes on every adventure. It was even a nappy bag for a few years when my boys were small! It has never failed me and is my most favourite piece of kit. It looks battered, sometimes it squeaks, but we fit together so well and I wouldn’t change her for the world because we have been through so much together 🥰

Looking forward to this one!

There are still four spaces left for this Friday morning’s hike in Dodnash woods, Bentley. Which is full of bluebells!

Don’t worry if you haven’t come along before, most people come solo but soon make friends. That’s the most lovely thing about these hikes - such like-minded souls come along 🥰 and we go at a very leisurely pace, so no fitness needed!
