Friday nights adventures!

After a stressful drive up (stuck in a traffic jam for over an hour) I still made it for my Friday night ‘sea fix ‘ with these gorgeous people! !
Another perfect end to the week (especially after that drive). 😳

Whoever said being sober is boring was clearly drunk ( oh that might have been me actually 🙄🙄). Just goes to show how wrong you can be !

There certainly is life after alcohol ! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

If you haven’t already booked your place onto the Durham sober brunch, it’s not too late as there’s still a few places left.🐝

Wether you’re on day 1, 1001 or not quite started your sober journey just yet but really want to meet other likeminded people for support, this event is for you.

Sometimes you just need to connect with 1 other person to get started and to know that you’re not alone.

The brunches are limited to 10 people to keep them intimate and safe and so we can get to know each other.

If you can’t make the January Brunch in Durham, don’t worry as we’ll be hosting a brunch in a different location each month so everyone can hopefully come along to one and meet other sober people in their area.

Future brunches are going to be held in Darlington, Sunderland, Gateshead and Newcastle !

Sober Socials are always worth it!!!

I Drove to Newcastle this morning to attend a sober butterfly event and met up with who was hosting the North East curious coffee catchup... and what a catchup it was. 🦋

In just 2 -3 hours we talked and planned so much; from starting beach yoga with ( obviously when the weather improves as beach yoga isn’t much fun in the rain ) more sea swimming with .swim.society, cycling from Newcastle to Tynemouth with and we even booked a Comedy Club dinner night !
How did I ever find the time to drink???? 🤷🏼‍♀️

Since becoming sober I have met so many likeminded people and I’ll never stop shouting about how amazing the sober community is! 🤩.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again... Sobriety really is the gateway into a life of self discovery and endless possibilities... don’t ever think being sober is boring or that you’re missing out because you’re not; it’s the complete opposite!

We are ridiculously excited to announce our brand-new coffee, catch up and brunch events happening at hives across the world. OMG did we just say world?
Meet up with your local hive each month for coffee, brunch and a catch up. These will take place on the last Saturday of each month at 10:30am local time at various venues.

In January 2022 we have meet-ups taking place in:

Good morning ! Its Saturday and it’s another amazing day in ‘Soberland’ !

A few of the Bee Sober Durham gang are heading up to Seaburn beach tomorrow to join for a magical morning of gong bathing, drums and a dip in sea. There’s still places available if you fancy joining us.

Tickets are £15 and can be purchased direct from Tracey.

If a gong bath isn’t for you, why not come and join us for a dip in the sea and a coffee on the beach afterwards 🧜‍♀️🧜🏼‍♂️ or just a coffee if you prefer to stay on dry land.

Our next Bee Sober County Durham meet up is this Sunday 27th June in Durham .

We’re meeting in Durham market place at 10.45 then heading along the riverside either on foot or if you’re feeling adventurous and energetic, we’ll hire rowing boats and row our way up the river. We’ll be stopping for refreshments afterwards, cakes, coffee, mocktails or whatever floats your boat.

If you’re living an alcohol free life, this is a perfect opportunity to meet other likeminded people who just ‘get you’.

Come along and say hi, It’d be lovely to see you there.
