I’ve worked really hard to get here. There was once a version of me who dreamt about the day I could spend Saturdays in my clinic mixing up prescriptions.

The past three days I’ve been on a Leaders of the Future course (and won a Leader of the Future award – humble brag).

What it reminded me is that leadership comes in many forms. It doesn’t always have to be loud or forceful.

As someone who leads with empathy, I’m learning that softness isn’t something to hide. It’s my superpower.

What I’m Loving Right Now - Day 2

Today it’s something a little different — cornsilk (yes, that silky stuff you peel away when you husk fresh corn!).

I’ve been drying it gently out of direct sunshine for a couple of weeks, and lately I’ve been drinking it as a simple tea. It has such a light, slightly sweet taste, really soothing and surprisingly comforting.

Why I’m loving cornsilk today:

🍁 Traditionally used to support the urinary tract and kidneys

🍁 Naturally soothing and hydrating

🍁 Gentle, calming, and a lovely everyday herbal tea option

I love how something so often thrown away can turn out to be such a supportive, nourishing plant remedy.
