Wintering is the practice of slowing down in alignment with the winter season. Just as nature rests and restores itself, wintering invites us to move more gently, reflect, conserve energy, and find beauty in stillness.
For me, wintering is a conscious choice. Itβs about honouring rest without guilt, listening to my body, and allowing space for reflection after a full and nourishing year. Nature shows us that nothing blooms all year round β and neither should we.
This quieter season gives me time to replenish, to walk slowly in nature, to notice the small details, to listen to birdsong, and to reconnect with what truly matters. By embracing wintering now, Iβm creating space to return feeling grounded, inspired, and ready for the brighter, busier seasons ahead β including the return of our Tree Tots sessions very soon π±
Winter isnβt about stopping; itβs about preparing. Rest is part of the rhythm, not a pause from it.
