The message in this video is close to my heart, something that I have been going through of late. I know so many others who have also been feeling this way and we ask the question why? Why do I feel this way? Why do I feel this way about the people who are meant to be closest to me?

It has explained a lot for me and has helped me to understand why I have been feeling the way I do.

💛The Quiet Lesson of Letting Go

The biggest lesson I learned this year
was to stop forcing what no longer flows.

Not conversations.
Not relationships.
Not friendships.
Not love.

If it has to be pushed, explained, begged, or held together by exhaustion,
it is not meant to stay.

What flows, flows.
What crumbles, crumbles.
And when it hurts, sometimes the kindest thing you can do
is to let it go.

Not everything that leaves is a loss.
Some things leave because their season is over.
Some leave to make space.
Some leave because they were never meant to grow with you.

Letting go is not giving up.
It is choosing peace over resistance.
It is trusting that what truly belongs to you
will not require force.

And when you release what is heavy,
life finds room to place what is right.

With calm.
With truth.
With belonging.

Sending a little extra love to anyone who isn’t feeling festive this season.

To those of you the ones who are tired of being strong, carrying too much, navigating change, healing and recovering. For those spending the holidays alone and maybe missing someone. For those who feel alone or don’t quite fit the “merry” mood everyone expects.

You don’t have to force joy to be worthy of love.

You don’t have to be something you’re not to prove you’re okay.

You don’t have to “be” anything. It’s enough to show up as you are.

As I always say - try to be kind and compassionate with yourself. Try to savour the small moments - a warm smile with a stranger, your favourite music, a film you love, a warm drink. Treat yourself with compassion and kindness. Take it one breath, one hour, one kind choice at a time.
