Okay I've got off my soap box, Happy Easter everyone! 🐰

Cutie patootie, this lovely lab is so stressed with vets, having a home visit takes out most the anxiety (partnered with plenty of tummy rubs to start) and he settled through his whole treatment. Taking it at the dogs pace is so rewarding and allows for a fear free and therefore more effective treatment 👐🏻

This is my biggest professional accomplishment, the hours of worrying and tears was worth it, look at him go now 🥰 still a little way to go, but from talks of amputation and worse, to see this improvement is exactly why I do what I do ❤️

If there is a clear muscle mass difference (asymmetrical) which fits the clinical picture, we will measure the circumference of the limbs to be able to measure progress - this helps guide us to know if we need to tweak anything, to give encouragement, and to give us something tangible that's not subjective. We don't focus too much on the numbers themselves, but whether the difference between the legs reduces. Please don't fixate on the numbers but use them as a tool of many to measure your animals progress 🤩
