Restorative yoga is a gentle, passive style of yoga focused on deep relaxation and healing.
We use props like bolsters and blankets to fully support the body in comfortable poses held for long durations (5-20 minutes).
It's about doing "nothing" or very little, allowing the nervous system to reset, reducing stress, lowering heart rate, and promoting rest, unlike active yoga which builds strength and flexibility.
The goal is effortless comfort to release tension, making it accessible for all levels, including those recovering from injuries or managing stress.
We finish the session with a little sound bath✨
