I’m the founder of a men’s mental health group here in Tamworth, and on Saturday 28th February myself and my amazing team were humbled and thrilled to receive two awards at the Spirit of Tamworth Awards! 🏆🏆

It’s been an incredible journey building a safe space where men can talk, share, and support each other.

These awards aren’t just for me, they’re for every single person who has walked through our doors, shared their story, and helped break the stigma around men’s mental health.

Very thorough lot… plenty of pecking about and keeping a close eye on the drains.

Thankfully everything passed the free-range inspection. 😅

Drainage Investigation & Blockage Clearance

We were recently called to a property experiencing multiple toilets backing up due to a blocked drain line.

Our team traced the drainage run and located a buried manhole chamber. During access, the old cover was damaged, so we replaced it with a new, safer one. The blockage was cleared and the system fully restored.

This is the part of me that my customers don't get to see.

After a full day on the job, I come home and work on social media, the website, invoices, quotes and ordering parts.

Running a business isn't 8 hour days, it's 24/7 and you never really have much time to switch off.

Luckily I absolutely love what I do and I do get great support from my family. The wife can type and create much better than me so most of the time she takes over! 🤣🤣🤣

How has your blue Monday been?

January is a hard month for most. We are all skint after Christmas, probably wanting to get back into the gym and now waiting until payday!

The last few weeks have been really tough for me being off my feet after surgery, but I am so glad to be back to work and out and about every day! Sitting in the house resting really isn't for me!

Let's start to think about how we can absolutely smash 2026. Lighter nights will be here soon!
