๐ฟ Making Time for Mindful Hobbies ๐ฟ
In todayโs fast paced world, itโs so easy to let our hobbies fall by the wayside. At school I enjoyed art but it wasnโt a regular hobby as horses were my passion!
Recently Iโve had a couple of requests, and although I find it very hard to sit down and actually get started, something magical happens once I doโฆ
๐ซTime slows down.
๐ซMy mind goes quiet.
๐ซI become fully immersed in the process.
It is the same presence I feel when I am with my horses in the arena, completely grounded and focused on the moment.
๐ Mindful hobbies such as drawing, painting, gardening, music or time with animals can help reduce stress and anxiety, improve mental clarity and boost mood and wellbeing by encouraging the release of dopamine.
This is my current work in progress. The more I give myself permission to create, the more peace and joy it brings. ๐๏ธ
