🎄 A Christmas Thank You from Croft Lodge 🎄

At this special time of year, I want to thank all our residents, their families, and friends for your continued support of Croft Lodge. The team are truly grateful and appreciate every kind word, thoughtful gesture, and gift that has been left for them.

As a manager, I feel incredibly lucky to have such a wonderful team of carers who treat our residents as if they were their own family. They are all heroes – especially those working today to make our residents’ Christmas magical. The home is filled with food, joy, families visiting, and the warmth of the season.

Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas. Thank you for your hard work, love, and dedication every single day of the year.

🎄✨ Croft Lodge enjoyed a wonderful time singing Christmas songs with Millie Bowden. There was plenty of singing and lots of laughter throughout the afternoon. The bar was open with plenty of wine flowing, delicious food, and great friends to share it all with. A truly lovely festive celebration! 🍷🎶🎅

Preparations are well underway for Christingle Day today at Croft Lodge 🎄🕯️
Our residents are very much looking forward to a special afternoon, with a Christingle church service being held here at Croft Lodge. It promises to be a warm, reflective time filled with togetherness, music and celebration.

Christingle is a beautiful tradition that symbolises hope and light. The orange represents the world, the candle reminds us that Jesus is the light of the world, the red ribbon stands for love and sacrifice, and the sweets or dried fruit represent the fruits of the earth and God’s kindness. It’s a meaningful day that brings comfort, joy and a sense of community to everyone involved.

Croft Lodge was brimming with Christmas cheer as residents proudly donned their Santa hats and gathered together to welcome a wonderful a ca****la choir from Teignmouth. The sound of festive singing filled the lodge, bringing smiles, laughter, and plenty of toe-tapping moments. Residents and staff alike joined in the joyful atmosphere, enjoying delicious mulled wine and Red Rock while soaking up the magic of the season. With happy faces, cheerful voices, and a room full of smiles, it was a truly heart-warming celebration and a perfect way to spread Christmas spirit throughout Croft Lodge. 🎅✨

Hazeldown School were an absolute delight! 🎄
Our residents had a fantastic afternoon filled with arts and crafts 🎨✨, smiles 😄, chatter 💬, and lovely teamwork 🤝. It was heart-warming to see the older residents and the young schoolchildren helping each other and enjoying such a joyful time together 💖. A beautiful example of true intergenerational connection during this festive season 🎅🎁🌟!
