At John Biddle Opticians, the moment you walk in the door, you will receive a welcoming smile and a friendly greeting. This will quickly be followed by an offer of a cup of tea or coffee just like you prefer it! Shouts of ‘Is that with milk and sugar?’ are heard regularly thoughout the day!

We want you to have the best experience possible together with the highest levels of eyecare. This friendly and approachable way has served us well for the past 40 plus years. The well experienced team at John Biddle's know their patients very well and are dedicated to providing the best possible service. We aim to provide the most thorough eye examination in an unhurried and relaxed environment. We want you to feel at home and able to not be embrassed to ask any question about your eyes that is of a conscern to you. The John Biddle Optometrists provide a full range of services for both private and NHS patients including eye examinations for adults and children, contact lens consultations, check ups and cataract assessments.

Our team of dispensing opticians also have a wealth of experience advising on the frame styling and the latest lens technology. They are also expert at the fitting and adjusting of the frames to ensure you get the most comfortable fit and get the optimum vision through the lenses.
