This month we share Ruby's story: Ruby entered service through the Penelope Project - this project works specifically with those in the military community - after reaching out to her unit welfare team to ask for help as she was experiencing domestic abuse perpetrated by her husband. Her story demonstrates the barriers that those in the military community can face and how - through the Penelope Project - we are working to break down these barriers and ensure access to appropriate support.
