Massage therapy has changed a lot over the last decade.
Many therapists were originally trained in one of two ways:
• Spa / relaxation massage
• Deep tissue / sports massage
Both approaches can have value.
But modern research is helping us understand how and why manual therapy works in a much more nuanced way.
Today’s soft tissue therapists don’t just follow routines or rely on pressure.
They assess.
They reason clinically.
They adapt their treatment to the individual in front of them.
That’s the approach I teach on my Level 4 Soft Tissue Therapy Diploma.
The course is recognised for membership with the Sports Therapy Association and is designed for therapists who want to practise in a modern, evidence-informed way.
📅 Next course starts 6th May
📍 Telford, Shropshire
