Scale weight…⚖️

Scale weight is not the be all and end all of your weight loss journey🤔

Scale weight can fluctuate massively depending on sooooo many things! When you last ate, the amount of carbs in your last meal, when you last went to the toilet and where you are in your cycle (female).

Within my journey I got focussed on scale weight and would be disheartened when it had slightly gone up, however when we look at the overall picture, I have dropped 18.3lbs since January, but if I was to focus on each week, or day, my weight could be up 2kg, down 1lb it varies massively and that’s something you need to take into account with your journey!!

My clients don’t rely on scale weight, we look at progress pictures, measurements and how they feel personally!✨

Within the fitness industry there are so many myths that put people off a lot of things.

I love carbs, easily my favourite part of any meal, I would eat pasta every day if I could, but so many people are scared of carbs, even though they’re our primary source of energy.

Rest days are so important to allow your body to recovery and build, it needs time to repair and allow changes to happen. Training every day doesn’t give time for this.

What is best for you?✨

I offer two types of coaching and training, 1-1 personal training and online coaching.

Online coaching works best for people who live busy lifestyles, work different hours who are able to hold themselves accountable to get to the gym and get a session in.

Whereas personal training is best for everyone. It keeps you accountable as you come to the gym with me, it’s motivating on days where you cba🫠 (we all get them).

Amazing news✨

Yesterday I passed my practical assessment at college!! That means that by next week I should be fully qualified and ready to start taking on clients🥳

The fundamentals of loosing weight and dropping fat isn’t complicated…

It’s as simple as energy in vs energy out, eat fewer calories and try to burn a few extra calories through moving and exercising. There is no magic formula or secret to loosing weight it’s just that. Also cardio is not the be all end all, weight training is massively important aswell😱

Taking shortcuts and fad diets might work quickly but 9 times out of 10 the weight returns and it’s usually more🫠 If you want to discuss how you could loose some weight or reach your goals drop me a message✨

Having a personal trainer or coach is an amazing thing, having someone who supports you, pushes you and keeps you accountable but also someone who is there for you helps you so much!

I wouldn’t be where I am today if I hadn’t met Sophie, she’s pushed me to do some things I never thought I would do!
