I haven’t made it to group since November 😱 but things have eased up again and, hopefully, routine will follow!

Despite a hectic December and all the goodness that came with it, I’ve checked back in with a 6lbs gain. Very happy to take that and aim to shift it all in time for Thursday’s weigh in.

Total loss: -11.5lbs

Carrying on where I left off last week with a 3lb loss and coming in with an average step count of over 11k. This week has mostly been spent savouring salmon, 5% burgers and lean gammon. More of the same next week will see me achieving my 1 stone award in 3 weeks of trying.

needed an ā€˜L’ and was hoping for a cheap overnight somewhere. Turns out and had other ideas. Booked into Haggerstone Castle for the weekend and drive a further hour to the nearest ā€˜L’ - Lochend Woods.

Tarmac, grass, woods, it has bits of everything. 2 laps with a great cafe and play area afterwards. Fantastic and friendly volunteers - Nat and Martha chipped in there with scanning and token sorting today while me and Xavier done the running.

E, I, K, Q and U to go. Queens, Belfast next week anyone??

day yesterday and we travelled 40 minutes north to . It was a buzzing morning with over 400 runners/walkers. A lovely, flat, 3 lapper in a fantastic park. We parked in Durham cricket ground over the road for 4 hours (Ā£2) and enjoyed the time afterwards in the park. It’s one we’ll definitely return to.

Despite some unfortunate token issues, the volunteers were brilliant, and some top funnel management was required by the top funnel manager

It was great to see Martha back on the monkey bars too šŸ«£šŸ« šŸ˜µā€šŸ’«ā˜ŗļø

Turns out it was my 27th different location, hoping for 28 next week.

Week 2 - 3lbs off this week making it 11lbs in two weeks. Off to a good start for my ā€˜100lbs in 52 weeks’ challenge. Nice surprise to get slimmer of the month too, another entry for the wall of fame!

Still got plenty of scope for improvement. Hoping to get my 1 stone award next week. It’s nice to look forward to weigh days once again.

There’s plenty of wall to fill, but give it a few weeks/months and there’ll be a lot less wall to see šŸ˜€
