Is Coaching Right for My Child?

Coaching may be a good fit if your child:
➡️ Is feeling overwhelmed by school, exams, or expectations
➡️ Lacks confidence or motivation
➡️ Struggles with stress, worry, or emotional regulation
➡️ Finds friendships or social situations challenging
➡️ Feels “stuck” or unsure how to move forward
➡️ Would benefit from practical tools and strategies
➡️ Is open to talking and reflecting in a supportive space

Life coaching can help your child build confidence, resilience, and practical skills to manage everyday challenges and move forward positively.

Coaching may not be the right support if your child:
➡️ Is experiencing significant or ongoing mental health difficulties
➡️ Needs diagnosis, clinical treatment, or crisis support
➡️ Is at risk of harm to themselves or others
➡️ Requires intensive therapeutic intervention
➡️ If this applies: Specialist mental health or therapeutic support is more appropriate. I will always be honest and supportive in helping families access the right help.

Not sure?➡️ An initial conversation can help determine whether coaching is suitable, or whether another form of support would be more beneficial.

Sunday night check-in…

Whose children are already having a full meltdown because they have to go back to school tomorrow? 🙋‍♀️

Whose house is filled with “I don’t feel good,” tears over homework, or big feelings that seem to come out of nowhere?

If this sounds familiar, you are not alone.

For so many families, Sunday nights bring anxiety, overwhelm, and stress — not just for kids, but for parents too. And when our children are dysregulated, exhausted, or worried, it impacts the whole household.

This is exactly why I created Thriving Minds.
At Thriving Minds, I help children and families build emotional resilience, confidence, and practical coping tools so Sunday nights don’t feel so heavy. Through personalized life coaching, we work on:
✨ Managing school anxiety
✨ Building confidence and independence
✨ Developing healthy routines
✨ Strengthening communication at home
✨ Teaching emotional regulation skills

Imagine a Sunday night that feels calm. Prepared. Even peaceful.

Your child doesn’t have to dread Monday. And you don’t have to feel helpless watching them struggle.

If this resonates with you, send me a message or comment “THRIVE” below. Let’s help your child move from surviving to thriving. 💛

I help teens and young adults:
🌱 Build real confidence (not fake “positive vibes” confidence — the deep kind)
🎯 Set goals that actually excite them
🧠 Manage stress, overwhelm, and self-doubt
💬 Improve communication and relationships
🚀 Step into their potential with clarity and direction

This isn’t about telling young people what to do.
It’s about helping them discover who they are and what they’re capable of.

Every young person deserves someone in their corner — someone who listens, challenges, and believes in them.

If you’re a parent looking for support for your teen, or a young person ready to grow, my DMs are open 💬

Let’s build confident, capable young people together.

✨ Why Life Coaching Is a Game-Changer for Young People ✨

Being young today isn’t easy. Between school, family expectations, friendships, social media, and figuring out your future, it can feel overwhelming. That’s where life coaching comes in.

Life coaching gives young people a safe, supportive space to:
🌱 Build confidence and self-belief
🎯 Set clear goals and actually achieve them
🧠 Develop resilience and healthy coping skills
💬 Improve communication and relationships
🚀 Gain clarity about their future

Unlike therapy (which often focuses on healing the past), life coaching is future-focused. It’s about unlocking potential, building practical skills, and creating a plan to move forward with purpose.

Young people don’t need to have everything figured out — they just need the right support while they figure it out. Life coaching empowers them to take ownership of their choices, believe in themselves, and step into adulthood with confidence.

The earlier we teach young people mindset, emotional intelligence, and goal-setting, the stronger and more capable they become. 💛

Invest in growth early. The impact lasts a lifetime.

Is your child suffering?

5 signs to look for…..

Today I was asked why I created Thriving Minds 💛

Working in schools every day, and being a mum of three, I see first-hand just how hard the world can feel for young people right now.

The pressure to succeed.
The constant comparison on social media.
Friendship struggles.
Big emotions.
Big expectations.
Big questions about who they are and where they fit.

It’s a lot.

I created Thriving Minds because I could see that young people don’t just need academic support — they need emotional tools, confidence, resilience and someone in their corner who truly listens.

And here’s something important…

Sometimes young people don’t want to open up to their parents (even amazing ones). They don’t always feel comfortable talking to teachers either. What they often need is a safe, neutral space — someone outside of their everyday world. A stranger who isn’t emotionally involved. Someone who won’t judge, won’t lecture, and won’t report back.

That’s where a life coach comes in.

As a coach, I’m not there to tell them what to do. I help them untangle their thoughts, build confidence, manage anxiety, set goals, and understand themselves better. I give them tools they can carry for life.

Because thriving isn’t about being perfect.
It’s about feeling capable.
Heard.
Empowered.
And every young person deserves that.

That’s why I started this journey 💛

Are you struggling with a child who refuses to go to school? You’re not alone.

School refusal isn’t about “bad behaviour” or laziness. It’s often linked to anxiety, overwhelm, social pressures, bullying, low confidence, or feeling misunderstood. For many families, mornings have become battlegrounds — filled with stress, tears, and guilt on both sides.

As a life coach, I work with children and teens to:
✨ Build emotional resilience
✨ Develop coping strategies for anxiety
✨ Strengthen confidence and self-esteem
✨ Improve communication skills
✨ Create practical routines that feel manageable
✨ Help them feel heard, understood, and empowered

I also support parents with tools to respond calmly and constructively — so home can feel safe and supportive again.

School refusal is a signal, not a failure. With the right support, children can rebuild trust in themselves and move forward with confidence.

If this sounds like your family, I’m here to help. Send me a message to find out how life coaching can support your child.

If you’re between 11 and 18:

You’re not behind.
You’re not weird.
You’re not ‘too sensitive.’
You’re learning.

If you need some help or guidance with that, that’s what I’m here for!!
