You don’t find love.
Love is in abundance.
Unmistakably present,
Everywhere.

If you are looking for love,
You are looking to feel worthy of love.
You are looking for permission
To be loved.
You are looking to receive love
In the way your intuition
Has shown you is possible.

You don’t find love.
You find love and respect
For yourself.
And once you have sought that
Within yourself,
Sat with the discomfort
Of your own worthiness,
Unwritten the words about love
That were never yours.

You will recognise love
In abundance.
And the truest form,
Aligned with your truest self,
Will ask for your hand
In trust.

In a sky full of stars, life is abundant.
Yet so often, we forget how much possibility exists beyond the view we’ve become used to.

Perspective is never fixed — only practised.

And sometimes, nothing outside of us has to change for everything to feel different.

What might reveal itself when you allow yourself to see from a different place within?

Sometimes the mind simply needs permission to notice what was already there.

What feels different when you allow yourself to look again?

Don’t fight your own conflicts.
Seek to understand. See them for what they show you about yourself.

Sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is sit with uncertainty, rather than act from the adrenaline of needing to fix or escape it. What we resist within us often continues to hold power over us — and understanding is what begins to soften its grip.

It’s okay to let go. To change the record and hear a new song. To turn the page and notice how the story might unfold when you allow yourself a little more space.

Change isn’t easy. The unknown can feel uncomfortable. And yet, it is often within this quiet discomfort that something new begins to form.

In hypnotherapy, we don’t force change or demand answers. We create a safe, supportive space where insight and understanding can emerge naturally, in their own time.

What might change if you allowed yourself to understand, rather than fight?

Storms still come.

When bad weather is forecast, we prepare.

When it arrives unannounced,

we discover there are only two paths —

to seek shelter,

or to feel the rain.

And with time,

we stop resisting the storm

and learn how to move through it.

A quiet space within

allows even the heaviest weather to pass. 🌧️✨

Creation.

Creativity can be soul food.
It can gently patch the spirit
when physically you feel a little broken.

It doesn’t have to be perfect.
It can be messy or neat.
An attempt, not a feat.

It can push you out of your comfort zone,
or draw you into a flow state.
It can be your motivation,
or your meditation.

Sometimes, opening the mind to creativity
opens the mind to finding solutions
where once you only saw obstacles.
To positivity and optimism,
where a critical mind once stood in the way.

From a weekend of creativity
has come a whole compendium of ideas—
new ways to thoughtfully tailor my offerings
to meet my clients’ needs.

Creativity, connection, and the quiet wisdom found in both humans and animals
are shaping what comes next.

A good time shared with a very capable cake-making friend
— learning, creating,
and allowing artistic licence to lead.

Thank you to .cakes.thornbury
for a wonderful few hours of art therapy ❤️

You’ve likely heard the saying:
You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make it drink.

We may offer support, guidance, insight -
with the purest of intentions and the clearest of hopes.

But change, growth, and readiness must be chosen.

We are responsible only for our own actions, behaviours, and responses —
not for how they land, or whether another is ready to receive them.

This is often where meaningful change begins —
not through force, but through awareness and choice.

Do your part.
Do it with integrity.
And release what was never yours to control.

Reflection isn’t always calm or neatly formed.
Sometimes it arrives through experience, through discomfort, through change.
When we slow the mind, we create space to hear what’s already there beneath the noise.
That’s often where clarity begins.

Progress doesn’t always look like progress.

Progress may not be visible.
It may be a shift in perspective.
A small change in habit.
An acceptance that a belief no longer serves you.
A quiet desire to move forwards.

Often, the greatest progress goes unseen.
We celebrate the butterfly,
admire its grace and presence,
forgetting it began as a caterpillar —
unremarkable,
often overlooked.

The transformation happens cocooned and hidden.
Until one day,
it unfolds
into a new chapter —
ready to be seen.

Change is difficult.
It can feel dangerous.
It can feel uneasy.

But it is possible.

Sometimes it is just recognising,
internally,
that something has shifted.

A belief no longer fits.
A story can be placed back on the bookshelf —
a reference, not a rhetoric.

Sometimes change
is simply the recognition
that you want it.

And then, space gradually unfolds
to allow those changes to take place.

Belief in yourself
is the only belief you need to honour.

Every day is a fresh start.
Every dawn is a new beginning.
As you breathe in the frosty air and morning light, allow your mind and body to gently reset. ❄️🤍
Even in the grey, change can begin softly.

The powerful waves of our subconscious mind
Can be our greatest ally,
Or our fiercest opponent.

What if we could quietly change the bias
Through which we view our world,

Our behaviour,
Our beliefs.
From stormy and angry,
To confident and strong.
From destructive and difficult,
To constructive, with ease.
From battle,
To resolution.

Just like this sea.
When we understand its power,
We can stand back
And view it with admiration.

The strength.
The confidence.
The ease with which it moves forward,
Without fear.

Hypnotherapy gently guides the subconscious mind
To find a safe viewpoint
From which to consider thoughts and beliefs
To learn a new language,
A new perspective,
Or simply to let go
Of what no longer serves us.

There is another way to see this.

Zippy knows she has a few joys in life that are non-negotiable.
Though, usually, there’s work to be done first.

When life feels a little heavy.
Long lists of tasks.
Never-ending to-dos.
Work that feels infinite.

Write down three of your loves, or small joys in life.
Then, amongst the work and tasks, give yourself a joy break.

Even brief moments of pleasure signal safety to the subconscious mind, allowing it to reset and refocus.

My three simple joys are:
❄️ Being outdoors / moving my body
☕ A cup of tea with a book or magazine
📞 A coffee or chat with a friend

Try interrupting your doing with a little joy.

Your mind will thank you for it.
