I was privileged to attend a Chai and Chat session with .salama today as a volunteer counsellor. Here you can see some feedback from someone that just needed to be validated. What an absolute pleasure it is to support and empower victims of abuse. I'm very lucky to do what I do. Thank you for having me ladies, see you on the 19th.

It's not always easy having therapy. It's also not always easy being the therapist. I get asked all the time how I do what I do. Recently I've asked myself the same question. It can be really hard to be in therapy, and it can be really hard to be the therapist. However, when I get some really lovely feedback, it makes it all worthwhile.
