Today I found myself clinging to the last page of ‘Memories, Dreams, Reflections’, refusing to except I’ve finally come to the end of it.

I don’t know what year I started reading this m**o but looking on my Instagram timeline sometime before 2022 so it’s taken me over 4 years.

Why take so long? Well partly down to my dyslexia, partly down to my crazy eclectic freelance life, (denying me any reading time) but massively down to the fact that almost every page holds a line that takes weeks, months (life times?) to integrate.

It’s the first book of Jung’s I’ve actually finished. I’ve secretly loved the fact that I’m a DreamWorker that’s never actually finished a book on the man. I’m not a Jungian or an academic, don’t like the elitist jargon some Jung worshipers fall into, and if his terms have not creeped into the collective, I suggest they don’t really work. Although very glad ‘Synchronicity’ has made it into the collective. I once made a student film where I filmed myself walking into Leeds library, picked up a dictionary and randomly opened a page and pointed to a word which of course was ‘Synchronicity’. I really need to dig out that film!

I walked down to the sea for the sunset with my battered copy from the 1970s to say goodbye to an old companion.

Super excited and honoured to be editing a Dream-Zine by one of the most mind bending dreamers I’ve ever had the honour of dreaming with (and that’s saying something as I know a fair few of them 😀).

I’ve holed myself up in a flat in Portugal for a week or so, in order to wonder around the mind of a master dream wizard.

See you all on the other side. I might not return the same.

I’m delighted to be collaborating with Monday Work Club, held on the first Monday of each month at 3rd Floor Studios, The Kindness Hub, Todmorden.

I’ll be leading a Drum Journey — a session designed to entrain brainwaves into a more focused and coherent state. These journeys take place at the start of the day, 8:30 a.m., helping you begin your week grounded, clear, and ready to create.

If you’re a creative freelancer who sometimes struggles to find that productive flow, this is for you. After the session, you’ll be perfectly primed to make the most of the hot desks at 3rd Floor Studios, complete with Wi-Fi, electricity, and kitchen access.
